Pumping my septic tank in Wonder Valley was an easy, quick and painless operation thanks to these guys. John came over in the morning to locate the tank and dig to get to the cover. He didn't have much to do since I had already done this, but that's not his fault! Then he called Harold who came out with the pump truck about 30 minutes later and sucked it all out including getting out the various bits of things (I won't describe those further) that got stuck in the hoses. Very quick, very efficient. Both these guys were friendly and answered some questions I had about the septic system -- its age, materials, size, where the leach field was, etc. -- really helpful and friendly. I would happily recommend their service to anyone. Also price was right compared to what I (over)paid to a Yucca Valley firm the last time I had this done at another property.

Beware. We had to reschedule service twice because they had issues with thier trucks. John is not good with timely communication which in todays age there is no excuse for. John is a heck of a nice guy, the 2 guys that showed up to pretend to pump our septic tank are not. Unfortunately for those 2 guys we had a video camera on the corner of the house that looked squarely at the septic tank area. I had dug up the cover to the tank already. We saw them show up, roll out the hose, jump in the hole then sit and talk for a few mintues. They then rolled up the hose, got on the phone and texted John that the job was done (date, time stamps on video and audio verify what was going on), Johns text message to me of completion several minutes after they texted him all prove that we were being scammed, then they drove off.

I called John and told him what I saw. He did go to our house and again camera captured him checking out the tank and seeing that it had not been pumped. He knew he was on camera though. It took him several hours to get back to me but he came up with the cover story that the guys had to leave on an emergency septic issue but would come right back. Recorded video and audio from my camera proves that this was false.
They did return and pump the tank but only after being told that they had been caught on camera. If I did not have the camera I would have assumed the tank had been pumped and may or may not have covered it up without looking when I came home late that night. The point is if they tried to do this to me, how many others have they done it to and gotten away with it?

John showed up today to collect payment, and I did pay, and I told him exactly what I have said above. I have lived out here for over 25 years as a Marine and now a civilian. Its a shame that folks like this bring discredit to good businesses in 29 and the high desert.

I've use Van Dyke's over the years they are really good far on their prices .when I go into pay very friendly very nice When I called to make an appointment I usually get it the same day usually within a few hours after calling I would recommend this place to anyone

The technician John came to our house within 30 minutes! He worked so hard. He was professional and friendly. I will tell everyone to use this company from now on.

These guys are AMAZING! I received an initial estimate from Eric, and while I did find a lower bid from another company Eric returned to follow up on the status of my failed septic system. I just so happened that the other company (with the lower bid) had already blown me off for a couple of weeks. Eric with Van Dyke was willing to match the competitors price and returned within a couple of days to begin work. The entire job was completed with in a couple of days and Eric really took the time ensure that my yard was in better shape than when he began the work. April in the office is absolutely pleasant and friendly, the entire company made me feel confident in the services provided and would absolutely recommend Van Dyke to anyone!
