I've had them out twice because they are under my home warranty program with American Home Warranty (love them) and that is who they have as the responding company.

Unfortunately Mike and the rest of his team are absolutely useless. They came out twice already to fix a hot/cold water issue - totally useless. Not only does Mike not understand keeping appointments, but Gabriel the technical needs go back and finish high school - he clearly has no idea what the F he is doing. All I have is hot water on all taps - nice repair asshole.

I'm pleading with the warranty company to drop these useless assholes.

If I could give them a zero I would. One star is way to much for the these incompetent idiots, unfortunately Yelp won't let me go lower.

I had one bbq already hard-lined to natural gas, and after getting a second grill needed that one added to the line as well. I called several plumbing companies to get quotes, and Van Allen Plumbing's owner answered the phone (unlike the others who did not return my call) so we were off to a good start.

He said he would send a plumber later that day; when he arrived, he said he would need more parts and asked if he could return the next day, which was fine. The work was completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost ($150).

I recommend Van Allen Plumbing and feel confident using them for future plumbing projects.

I give Van Allen Plumbing top reviews!!! So impressed with their service. I'd like to mention Gabe and Josh who came out to my house to fix my water heater. Very thorough, professional, respectful and NICE!!! I will definitely use them again and would recommend this company highly. Their prices were also quite reasonable.

Again! We had a water heater leak in our new home. My wife called Van Allen at 7 AM, and at 11 AM we had a new water heater installed. It was installed with proper bracing and a drip pan. It's no fun when you need a plumber, but Van Allen is 2-for-2 with excellent service, excellent work, and competitive pricing.

Recently I had a water heater problem....as happens, it was afternoon on a Friday beginning a 3 day weekend. I contacted Van Allen Plumbing and had the good fortune to speak with Darryl who walked me through some tries and although they did not work, he said he would be at my house by 3pm! True to his word he was there and resolved the problem.

At any time I would have been glad to have such speedy and excellent service, but on a Friday afternoon beginning Labor Day weekend, I was most impressed by Darryl's fine work ethic and willingness to help a customer. He was polite, industrious and gave full attention to his work. I have used Van Allen quite a number of times in the past and always was completely satisfied, but Darryl's help and attitude on the eve of that long weekend certainly adds to the shine on Van Allen's reputation. Van Allen plumbing does a wonderful job. They get the job done right, and actually caught contractors mistakes! I have now had them do three jobs. When I need a plumber for other stuff I will be calling them.

Wallace was a pleasure to deal with. He kept it straight and was extremely personable. He fixed several leaking pipes, installed a new double clean-out, and reinstalled a sewer pipe that was installed incorrectly. He was always on-time and his workers were awesome in cleaning everything back up. I will call him up anytime I need a plumber.

First of all, my mistake I thought I was calling Allen Plumbing and asked for Lamont. Wallace answered, said this is Wallace and asked what did I need. Not super friendly. I had a weird feeling and should have checked the phone number right then, but I thought maybe this was a family business. This proved not to be the case. I had explained the scope of my work and we agreed on a time to meet early on a week day.

Wallace showed up 1/2 hour early. I was not ready. Like most people my mornings are hectic, and I felt this was very unprofessional. Wallace took a look at my job and threw out a couple of prices for each section of the job. I was a little shocked at the quote, feeling it might be high for some of the work, and confused as to what the actual cost would be. I indicated I was going to get a couple of quotes and asked if he would give me a written quote. He said I should get a couple of quotes, and then said he didn't care if I called him or not. Really?!

Through out my dealings with Wallace I felt he was arrogant and condescending. Wallace will not be doing any work in my home.

My sewer was backed up. Called them at 4:30 pm on a Saturday. The guys arrived about 10 mins later. They snaked the line for a while and couldn't get it unclogged. They came back on Sunday morning at 8:30 am and tried to snake the line again. They determined the problem was a collapsed sewer line. This part blew my mind. They felt the ground for vibration, pulled the snake and stretched it out, and began to dig. They found the line and the problem almost immediately. The hole was four feet deep and five foot long. The guys fixed the damaged section and were on their way. The price was fair as far as I was concerned and well below what they estimated. I will us these guys again in the future.
