This company was sent by my home warranty company to do repairs .On the first visit they fixed 2 out of 3 problems but did not have a part so they said they would return to complete the other issue. They called a month later ,I took the day off from work and I was told that I needed to call 10 o'clock the morning of the job to get an arrival time . I called at 10 am they told me I was the 2nd person on the list and the technician will get there at about 11. At 12 I called back I was told the technician will get there at about 3 because they're doing another job before they would get to me. Here I am at 6:30 pm and nobody has called me to say they're not going to show up or that they are going to reschedule for another day . I have heard nothing. I have tried calling the office, no answer they have no regard for anyone's time I took a day off from my job are they going to expect me to do this again? This is unacceptable !!!!!.

Our hw company sent them out. First we had an all day window of time that they assigned, and after waiting all day friday, they called at 5 to say they were on their way. This was after we called repeatedly to let them know we were leaving town at 4. They rescheduled for Monday. We had a blocked kitchen drain for 5 days. They brought in a broken snake, said he cleared it, then 5 minutes later it backed up. They also replaced a pipe gasket that was perfectly fine and didn't need replaced. Later that night the kitchen sink was leaking. .. when we called, they said they could do nothing, it needed to be scoped. Why didn't they tell us that before they left? We can't get a refund for their service call fee. We called nagy plumbing, who brought the same kind of smake, but with a boring bit that worked! The first guy should have done this! Very disappointed and ended up costing over $200.

My home warranty company referred me to this phony company. It took them 2 days to schedule someone to come to my home. I had to take the entire day off from work because they could only give me a window of 9am-5pm. After waiting all day with no one showing up, I finally called at 4:30pm. They informed me that they were running a little behind but someone would definitely be out. It's now 9pm and no one has showed up!! I hate to have my time wasted. If you are not professional enough to consider your customer's time, you do not deserve their business!! I will NEVER do business with this company again and I advise that anyone reading do not either!

My review will sound very familiar. They are the service provider for my home warranty company. They took 3 trips to fix the hot water to a sink, and 2 trips to fix a leaking faucet (the tech did not have the right size allen wrench). I was assured that I would be the first call of the day (they do not normally give anything other than a 9-5 window, but since this is the 3rd visit...), this morning I was told that the scheduled Tech was sick - ok these things happen - however I would be another Tech's first call. It is now almost noon, and when I called to check, I was told that they had to send him somewhere else first and he would get here when he can. I was told that it was unreasonable for me to have expected a call to let me know there had been a change of plans. Plus, it is difficult for them to call out when their phones are blowing up with incoming calls. But, I was welcome to call back and get an update. Do you think the not calling the customer business model lends itself to phones blowing up? If you don't value your time and want to deal with indifferent customer service reps, this is your company.

Update. They finally made it and the Techs were very nice (I did not take my frustrations with dispatch out on them). They were able to solve the issue. That said, dispatch's attitude toward other people's time is unacceptable.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! This is by far the most unprofessional, unreliable company I have dealt with in a very long time. If you hire them, you have been warned.
They had the wrong address and contact number after giving it to them many, many times. I called and they put me on hold and they then connected me to another customer that was on hold too. That customer was calling because they had a complaint and no resolution in the near future. I am leasing a house and that is why we got stuck with these guys. Do not use Value Rooter.

My home warranty co. sent Value Rooter to our home. At first I was skeptical as reviews haven't been great but once again I've learned you can't judge a book by it's cover.

Had the pleasure of working with Jerry and his son Gage. A competing plumber came first and stated that my pipes were PVC and water jetting would fix it. Quoted at $485 for first our of work.

Jerry quickly discovered that my pipes were not PVC and said he'd need to go through my wall. After cutting the hole we discovered he was 100% correct and the entire archaic pipe needed to be replaced. He accomplished that and now we're set.

My home warranty sent them out for a leaking pipe in my wall. The day after they were contacted, they sent a couple of methheads to my house, who walked, said "yup, its leaking, gotta order parts" and left. That was a thurs. The following tuesday, having heard nothing from them, I called to find out what was going on. After being left on hold for 22 minutes (!!), they told me theyd heard nothing from the techs they sent out yet, so they knew nothing and could schedule nothing. We ended up just getting a reputable plumbing company to come fix it without using our warranty. Worst plumbing company ever.

This is by far the absolute worse plumbing company. Do NOT use! And they have Horrible customer service! AHS sent these people to fix the toilet, only needed a flapper. They weren't even out of our subdivision when I called them to tell them that it wasn't right- water was still running. No one returned calls.

Two weeks later the faucet in my kitchen sink quite working. AHS assigned Value Rooter again. David came out and said I needed a sensor. He would do research and try to locate part. Two days later I called to follow up. Left several messages, no returned call. Finally got a hold of Kim, the receptionist, said she would call back by 3p.m. that day. No call. Called the next day, when I reminded her who I was, she immediately cut me off and put me on hold. Finally told me she would call me back with update in 30 minutes. - I decided to go to lowes and did the research myself. Called Delta Faucet Co., sent them pictures, they talked me through how to bypass the sensor mechanism and remove it, so I could at least have water! 2 hours later I had the water running, the part #, and company number ready to give her. Again, Kim rudely told me that my claim with AHS was denied. She never did call back in the 30 minutes she said she would. Their plumbers are incompetent and they have a rude receptionist that never returns calls. When I asked to speak with the owner, she told me the owner was in and out and wasn't sure WHEN he would be able to call back.

Having plumbing issues causes enough stress without having to deal with incompetent, rude people.
