I am reading the reviews and in the middle of working with this company now. I had a service request for last Friday to clear a clogged drain in the kitchen. The lady in Belton gave me an 9 to 5 window for them to arrive, they showed up at 5:45. Arriving late, they looked at the drain pipe under the sink, agreed that there were 45 degree angles that would make snaking the pipe difficult, walked around the outside of my house and found that the drain line had an entry point on the roof and it would need to be cleared from there (Which is what I had told them). They told me they didnt have insurance to go on the roof at their job and if they did do it, it would cost an extra 285 dollars. So, seeing that it was getting dark anyway, I let them go their merry way, it was just a day lost for me. I called AHS today and as of now, the Tuesday evening after, they (AHS) have no record of the techs showing up and are hesitant to offer me another option. They reached out to Belton to find the techs to get their analysis, and the techs are nowhere to be found. After what Im seeing here, and after what Ive experienced, I think I just may have to do this myself or call my own plumber. There is truth to whats being wrote here.

American Home Shield warranty sent these guys out. The service men weren't rude, but not that friendly either...They couldn't give me an arrival time, so there was lots of waiting around. They fixed one of the small leaks in the bathroom, which was nice.
The plumbers then went to look at the leak on the copper refrigerator line in the garage and said the home warranty wouldn't cover it because of the way the line was twisted. The only reason the line might have been twisted (as I explained) was because I had to pull it out through the wall to figure out where it was leaking. They took some pictures and called it in...Nevertheless they spent over an hour waiting on hold with AHS to get approval. They didn't get it. They gave me an estimate to replace the line for over $600 or spot fix the line with compression fittings for almost $300 plus I had already spent the $75 service fee. We just had a babby and I was trying to save time by using these guys... I wasn't going to spend over $300 though. I did it myself in an hour and spent $20 to get the parts.

I decided to dump AHS as it kept on giving me other vendors that were questionable and called an outside plumber. The outside plumber responded in 3 hours. Another reason to just forget AHS and Value Rooter Corporation. You can find better elsewhere.

Horrible service. Landmark home warranty booked this contractor for us. They don't send email or text about your appointment. I kept calling and my appointment window kept sliding throughout the day from 9.30 -11 to 12-2 to 3-5, i was always next in line. Then they say we will dispatch another contractor and nothing. Horrible service for what they do. Instead go for Fernandez Plumbing really good contractor for your needs.

One star is too generous. American Home Shield dispatched this vendor to us when our hot water heater went out. That was six days ago. My appointment finally was scheduled for today (Sunday) between 8am and 5pm. They were a no call / no show after we stayed home all day waiting for them. We wasted an entire day and we still don't have hot water. I will not renew my contract with @AHS_Warranty.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Contracted by AHS and pathetic customer service. Got an email my service appointment was between 8:30am - 12:30pm. Called to see where I fit in that range. Girl essentially laughed and said our window is 8-5 and you're 3-5. They randomly called me at noon so I called back to see what was up. The girl who answered was rude and like not sure why we called. I called one more time at 4:30 to ask what happens if the repair guy doesn't arrive by 5. I was told every repair guy finishes their entire docket for the day. The clock hit 6 p.m. and still no call no text nothing from value Rooter. I again called and got a voicemail. 3 hours later as I'm writing this review still no response to that voicemail. I called American Home Shield and suggested they started reading reviews on Yelp. I shared they should reconsider their contract with Value Rooter Corporation because they were giving them a bad name.

I wish I could submit a zero star. Incompetent technicians. Ladies answering the phone have poor customer service skills. Even the manager I spoke to was rude and unsympathetic to the poor quality of service the company has been providing. She said the have a policy they have to follow, and based on my experience I guess that means 5 technicians and 3 months later to work on determining still if my water heater needs to be replaced. And I am still waiting for yet a 6 appointment because it still not working. Save your self and go with another company. They don't deserve your business.

Wow. Very rude girl working phones at Belton office. Never had such sorry service. Do not use this place. You will be sorry. They really need to fire that girl. She was combative and ugly when she could have been apologetic and understanding. We were told 8-5. We stayed home all day. It's now 4:30 and no one is coming our way yet and we live very far out.

Through AHS, I contacted Value Rooter, and yes, I also was nervous and skeptical of their way of doing business, but the two technicians , Dan and Joe, were very pleasant, skilled and repaired my water heater. The dispatching service was more or less horrible in the way nobody ever contacted me that it really would take all day and then some to come out to my house. I give them the benefit of the doubt having a job which took longer than expected, but why is it impossible for them to give the customer a call, a text or an email to inform them? A 9 - 5 window (they finally came about 5.30 pm) is unacceptable and takes away from the excellent work their technicians are definitely capable of. Maybe some modifications would be beneficial?

Oh dear, tonight....the water heater is still leaking. Hope this will NOT of those long troubled repair job??? I am scared.

After taking 4 days, numerous phone calls and broken promises to get a tech out to my house to access the problem (backing up toilets from cracked sewer line caused by roots), the quote was $1700 (not covered by warranty service). Once quoted Value Rooter was very willing to fix quickly. A second opinion/quote was $541 to fix the same problem. Get a second quote!
