I called Valley Rooter for a clogged drain to have my drain unclogged for today.
I was very happy with the on time arrival, courtesy, and knowledge from their employee: Nabil.
He was very conscious of keeping his work area clean. I also needed for Nabil to replace gasket for the toilet again he was very neat; left our bathroom very clean. I would highly recommend this company to others. In the future this is the company I will be calling.

Valley Rooter is one of the best... clean.. professional plumbers i have ever worked with... I had a main line back-up... my 4 rooms were down my regular guy tried for over 3 hrs... I repeatedly told him.. he don't have the right snake for the main line
3 hrs. later he couldn't fix it.. I still end up giving him $80...
one of my customer mentioned valley rooter.. they send a guy over in less than 30 mins... The plumber Nabil got a big industrial 150 snake and the problem was solved in 10 mins... I called his boss and told him.. how clean and professional his guy was.
and i wanted to share with everyone....give them a call..

A few months back one of my bathroom toilet tank seals had a leak causing the water to kick on frequently. The workings of this tank were unlike any other I had owned and frankly I did not feel like dealing with it. You see I have a job I get paid to do what I do and others get paid to do what they do. I do my part in the economy to pass on the buck and pay to let them do what they do. I also wanted to have the drains surrounding my pool snaked for prevention before any potential heavy rain came(wishful thinking I know). The wife and I agreed she would call the number on the sticker I shared in the photo. She would get an appointment and have the two tasks handled. A plumber did come out. After inspecting the toilet tank he told her he didn't have the right part so he could not fix that. No offer to get part and come back or anything just Ooop sorry cant help you with that. STRIKE 1
Next up the drains around the pool. He did run his snake thru the lines in a few locations which we paid for. IF and when I find that receipt I will gladly share that information as well. When I got home my wife expressed to me she was not that impressed with the attitude or appearance of the plumber who did show up and we chalked it up to the usual ""It's hard to find someone who takes pride in their work category""
Fast forward a few months to the weekend of April 26, 2014. My washer and dryer are installed in the garage (house built in 1977). The Hot water hose to my washer is leaking at the faucet. Suspecting a simple washer will solve this problem I decide to attempt this on my own. One problem leads to another and the entire spicket is turning behind the wall. I replaced the spicket using the old original nut and ferrule since it was getting late and I did not want to attempt to remove the ferrule considering I've never used the tool before and may have been overly concerned about damaging the water pipe. I considered it temporarily fixed enough so I could turn the house water on again.
The wife and I agreed that she would call a different number on the same sticker in hopes of getting a different plumber and we would pay them to replace the nut and ferrule which I had.
Unfortunately the same guy showed up. My wife told him we wanted him to replace the ferrule and the nut so they are new to match the spicket. He tells my wife it does not need to be replaced since he did not see a leak. She assured him it was leaking very slightly earlier and we wanted it replaced anyway. He told her it only needed to be tightened and he would tighten it if she would like but that would be a service charge. TO TIGHTEN A BOLT!? She asked him how much and he said $50. She told him no thanks that was ridiculous and he could leave. I'm still wanting the ferrule and nut replaced if anyone knows a good plumber they can recommend. I would gladly have paid for him to replace the ferrule and nut as we requested but I be darn if I'm going to pay him $50 to tighten a bolt. Bottom line is we did not ask him for his opinion we wanted it replaced and called them out to replace it. We didn't say, ""Hey do you think we should replace this my husband is worried it may be too old and thinks it should be replaced?"" That would be different.
All I'm saying is if you're going to sit around the house for 3 hours and wait for a plumber to show up you should call one you think will do the job you need done in the first place. By the way the tank seal that was leaking I later fixed it with a $5 replacement from Home Depot.
With Plumbers like this working for them the company is not going to complete as many jobs or make as much money as they otherwise could.
