After several in house bids we decided to go with Valley Plumbing for a bathroom remodel .John came out and walked us through what we would need, he took the time to answer all our questions, and came back with a detailed estimate that we decided to go with.
We could not have been happier with the results and the work that was done. Christian was excellent in all the work he did to every detail. John followed up as construction was being done with questions that came up. And Virginia in the office was a great help in going over payments as we went through the process.
Overall, we are very happy with the work that Valley Plumbing did, and we will continue to use them for our needs as we have for many years.
I highly recommend their work!

The Plumbers I have used here have always been great. Not so with the office. I ordered and payed for two sinks and a custom counter 7 weeks ago. I got one call in all that time to tell me the company messed up the counter and Stark really didn't know what was going to happen. And, didn't seem to care. If we had not called in 3 weeks into it I don't think he would have called, ever. We went down to Valley Plumbing about 5 weeks into it, and we were told they put us first on the list. That was 2 weeks ago, haven't heard anything since. I have never been treated so badly by a business.

Valley Plumbing in Pleasanton is horrible. I'm giving them one star because that's the only way to write a review. They don't deserve any! They will only schedule a four hour window. My window was 12:00 - 4:00, and I took a half day of vacation leave off work. The plumber showed up at 5:00 and informed me that the only way he could do the work was on OT. I phoned the office in Pleasanton and she told me the same thing. Their regular rate is high at $140/hr, but the OT rate is ridiculous at $205/hr. They wanted to charge me over $600 to install two faucets and it was their fault that they did not show up during the window they scheduled! REALLY BAD BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This is the second time we bought bathroom fixtures from Valley Plumbing. I went in and selected what I thought would look good in our second bathroom. Cindy spent hours helping me select all the fixtures and Mike explained the new laws regarding fixtures in drought plagued California.
Turns out I should have consulted with my better half first. Cindy had to redo most of the order and did so without hesitation. The fixture quality is far and away better than what we have been able to find elsewhere. I will be going back for the kitchen fixtures too. Great local small business!!!

I just moved to this area and bought a 90 year old home, so we had several (4) plumbing projects we needed to do. I got 5 estimates. Valley was quick to come out, sent someone very knowledgeable and gave us several good suggestions for the biggest project - a bathroom remodel. Their estimate was 2nd lowest. They scheduled the work fairly close in (3 weeks) and came when they said they would. The main plumber did a great job solving some unforeseen issues, and communicated well. Because of some tougher than expected under the house ancient plumbing work, one of the jobs took 8 days instead of 5. However, Valley kept to exactly the original estimate. I was relieved! The workman made sure everything was exactly as I wanted it. The next jobs they did went just as well. I definitely recommend Valley.

Zero star for this place and -10 stars for Mike
Unprofessional plumber who doesn't know how to fix pipes, over charging for three of his mistakes.
I would not do any more business with this plumber

Generally people write reviews immediately after the job is done and what we do not know is what's coming 6 months/ 1 year out.
I engaged Valley Plumbing after talking to my neighbors and all the good stuff they have to say about them. The project was about replacing Bathroom Sink stopper. It was all done on time and as per his advise. One year on, IT IS ALL RUSTED, LEAKING AND ALL NEED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN.
Other bathrooms Sink Stoppers (15 years old) still shining like new.
I will not chose them ever again. What a waste of time and money.

Really wish that I didn't have to write a negative review for Valley Plumbing; I was really hoping that they could be my go to plumbing company for all of our future needs. However, I am not happy with my experience. We needed new sinks and faucets in our kitchen and after much research I chose Valley Plumbing because of the good reviews that they received. After the work was done, my husband and I were very happy with the sinks and faucets. However, a few months after the install the special feature (i.e. the ability to tap the faucet on and off) of one of the faucets stopped working and our pipes started leaking when we ran the dishwasher. I called Valley Plumbing and one of the mechanics came out. The following two things were determined:
- The battery pack was defective for one of the faucets that they originally installed. He messed around with the faulty faucet for a while and then since we got the same faucet on two different sinks he took the battery pack from the good sink and tried it on the faucet that wasn't working. Personally, I don't think that he should have messed with the good sink.
- The connection for the dishwasher was not connected appropriately, which was why it was leaking. He immediately said, ""we aren't the ones that did this work, are we""? And I said that they did in fact do the install. Ultimately, he realized that he was the one that did the initial install! In fairness to Valley Plumbing it was not leaking when the install first happened; however, it couldn't have been connected tightly enough for it to already be leaking just a few months after the install. I asked him about how to pull the dishwasher out because I wanted to ensure that there was no mold behind it as a result of the leak. He then noted that the dishwasher connection probably came apart because we were trying to pull the dishwasher out. This was completely false and I did not appreciate the accusation, as we never actually pulled the dishwasher out. It seemed to me that he was trying to place blame on the faulty connection work that he did.
All of this work took an hour and then I received the surprising news that I had to pay $134 as a result of him having to come out and diagnose the problem (including time spent taking apart my good sink faucet)! I expressed my dissatisfaction with this as I just paid Valley Plumbing thousands of dollars for 2 new sinks and 2 new faucets and now I have to pay for their failure to connect a part correctly and for a defective product. He simply said that I had to pay for labor. I asked if I was going to have to pay more when he came back to install the part, since he didn't have the new part with him and he said he would have to check with his manager. He came back to install the new part today and I had to pay an additional $34, so obviously he never checked with his manager. I didn't even say anything to him this time about having to pay the additional money since it seems like a lost cause.
I just don't agree with this business model. This is bad customer service to make me pay an additional $168 for this. I could have been a customer for life, but because they did not do the right thing in my opinion I will not be using Valley Plumbing again nor will I refer them to my friends. Hope you all have a better experience than I did. I will say that we are happy with our sinks and faucets (now that they are both working correctly) and Valley Plumbing did show up when they said they would throughout the process. This is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

I had an issue with a toilet install. Mike from Valley Plumbing responded immediately to my complaint. Fantastic customer service - right? I jumped the gun and took down my original scathing review. When I called to set up a time to have Valley Plumbing come out to fix a faulty install, I requested a Saturday appointment so I would not have to miss any more work. I was told by the office person that I would have to pay an overtime rate. I decided to not to spend the effort to make it easy for Valley to correct their mistake. I hired an awesome handy man to finish up for them and to also do some work in another bathroom. I won't be calling Valley again.

I had the need to replace an old shower handle that had broken off. Checked everywhere (box stores) but no luck. I drove off to VPHC and they immediately started to assist with suggestions and options for a replacement. They looked for the closest model and color and got me what I wanted with reusing some of the color /parts from the old handle. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and got my job done. I am very appreciative of the entire process from the first call in to the pickup of the part. Will definitely be back for other plumbing needs.
