We had Valley Plumbing install a water heater for us through American Home Shield. First of all when the installation was done this was during a peak time for COVID and the technicians were not wearing masks consistently while inside the house (one of them was eating on the job while doing the installation). Fast forward months. We find out there is a gas smell near the utility closet. Luckily nothing happened but apparently installation was not properly done and a leak was left unnoticed. Further on we find out the installation is not up to Code so we try to find out if there was a permit. Records do not show a permit request so at this point I don't know what else they might have done wrong. Long story short STAY FAR AWAR FROM THEM. Completely unprofessional people, cutting corners and putting you at risk.

When we called regarding the permit and mentioned that there is a leak they did not believe it and argued that it was an effort to slander their good business. No, you are doing that to yourself with the quality of your job.

OH we called the town, there were no permits requested by this company for our house. Complete scam.

THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! This company installed a new hot water heater in our brand new home. They did not pull permits to do so, they did not get it inspected and it ended up causing a gas leak in my home putting my family at risk. We had another TRUSTED plumbing company look at it and they said it was illegally installed and is not up to code which is why the gas leak happened.

DO NOT USE. This company tried to scam us and completely over charge. Tried to bill our home warranty company for a service when he hadn't even come to our house yet. When we caught on and our home warranty company tried to fire him, he still showed up at our house. He cut his price in half on the spot, promised not to over bill and then STILL over charged. Beware and do not call!!! Complete scam artists!

Prompt, courteous, professional service. My hot water tank needed to be replaced as it was leaking and I had no hot water. I sent in a service request to American Home Shield. Valley Plumbing & Heating contacted me promptly within 24 hours and assessed the situation. Options were discussed and the home warranty company contacted. I was apprised of what materials were covered and what out of pocket expenses were expected. The hot water tank was replaced within 48 hours. I recommend Valley Plumbing and Heating in Uxbridge, MA without reservation.

Dick came over within an hour after I called on a Saturday to hook up a new sink and faucet in my kitchen. He did the job at the price he quoted me, and seems like a nice guy, would use again.

I agree with Joe A's review. We unfortunately used Valley Plumbing, who verbally quoted us prices for 3 parts, yet billed us 2 to 3 times more for each of those parts. See BBB report on this business. BBB contacted the owner twice, but he never responded to them at all. That should speak volumes for any consumer! Don't use them unless you have money to burn!!

Service was ok but the estimating and billing was terrible. The HVAC Tech diagnosed the problem and said it would be $150 and I received a bill for $300. The bill wasn't even itemized. It was 1/2 hour onsite and a $25 part. Don't use these ripoff artists.
