I had two leaking supply lines underneath the bathroom sink, an easy 1 hour job for an experienced plumber, but beyond my capabilities. After one plumber gave me an outrageous quote, I was referred to Valley Plumbing. They quickly returned my call, fit me into their schedule, and showed up on time. Their work was excellent and they charged a reasonable rate ($400 less than the first quote).

I had Kevin out to fix two small leaks when we bought our house 1.5 years ago. I was impressed then s I called him back to give me a quote on installing several new supply lines to connect a whole house filter and water softener. the way that I wanted the pipes run was a fairly tricky set of connections. he installed several valves for shut off and bi-pass of the system for maintenance and he ran a completely new line for my kitchen. Their work was clean and efficient and I am trilled with the results. I will definitely hire him again when I put in a half bath or for any repairs which may come up.

It is a Sunday afternoon, and my kitchen sink is backed up. I need a plumber, so I go to Yelp and call this company.

Me: ""Do you have anyone available to come out and clear a clogged kitchen sink?""

Them: ""It's Sunday at 5:00"" (very sarcastically)

Silence

Me: ""Sorry to bother you, I didn't realize it was so unusual to have plumbing emergencies after hours.""

Him: ""Uh, what I meant to say was that there's this other plumber that we work with......""

Me: ""Too late."" Click.

Minutes later, he calls back: ""You mis-understood me. I was trying to give you a name of another plumber....""

No way. I didn't ""mis-understand"" anything. If you are the kind of plumber that only takes appointments during normal business hours, that's fine. Just say that. The guy I called before you was like that. But don't be rude about it.

Got home from work to find a leaky water heater. I called several plumbing services to get a quote. Kevin's price was reasonable. This is the second time I have used him. He came out right away and installed a new gas water heater. He is professional and wants to make sure his customers are satisfied with his work. I definitely would recommend Kevin for any plumbing needs.

I have hired Kevin twice and keep his business card on my refrigerator. He is pleasant, honest and extremely efficient. I know nothing about the plumbing industry, but his rates seem very reasonable. Also, when I went to General Plumbing to purchase my new faucet, the serviceman who helped me raved about how competent Kevin is as a plumber.

I called Kevin on a Wednesday and left a message about the installation of a pedestal sink. He called me back within a few hours (normally a good sign) to set up an appointment for Friday at 3. So I leave work EARLY in order to meet this guy. 3pm -- no Kevin. 3:30 - nope. 4pm - nope. This guy ended up no showing. No call. Nothing. Thanks buddy, but I will definitely be finding someone else.

I needed a plumber for a quick repair to my toilet valve. I checked Yelp and was lucky
to get Kevin. He showed up later that day, after fitting me in to a very busy schedule.

A day later the inners were not working. Kevin came back out and repaired that at no charge.

I won't hesitate to call him again. He is prompt, courteous and professional.

we had an issue where both of our showers had flow and pulsation issues and we were worried that it was a faulty pipe issue which would be expensive to fix. I called Kevin and he diagnosed it over the phone as being an issue with the shower cartridge which was a fairly simple fix and agreed to meet me the same day. Kevin came and confirmed that both showers required the cartridges to be replaced and fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. What a relief! I highly recommend Kevin.

Called for an estimate following review of yelp ""Plumbers"" category. Kevin arrived late in the day, seemed to understand what was needed, provided an estimate and I accepted it for outside pipe replacement adjacent to the front door .

I was to hear from him the next morning, Friday, to set the appointment time. I called him about 9:30 to give an alternate contact number; ""he didn't have his appointment book with him""; said ""he would call me back"". My understanding was by approximately 10a.m. on Friday as he'd left Thursday having made that promise and still no call.

It's Monday afternoon. And, Valley Plumbing Co. not!

Now I need a plumber since the valves and pipes inspected, jarred and opened on Thursday are now dripping, slowly, where previously they were not.

Kevin was able to solve a difficult and unusual pipe clog problem that had me stumped (I try to do my own ""housekeeping"" before bringing someone in). Working with an assistant, he had to try several different approaches -- from the roof vent as well as the wall -- but kept right on until the problem was fixed. I thought that with all the time and energy spent, by two guys, it would cost more than he actually charged, but the bill was very reasonable and well worth it Moreover, Kevin was personable and pleasant to deal with. I'll call him first next time I can't solve a plumbing problem!
