I was having issues with my hot water going in and out, so after paying several other professionals to come out and diagnose the problem with no results I decided to call Valley Plumbing. Scheduling was easy and the lady I spoke with was very nice. My service guy, Brian, came out the very next day and immediately showed me what the issue was. I ended up needing a new water heater and he took care of everything for me. I had a new water heater and hot water within a few hours. Brian was awesome! He kept me informed letting me know what he was doing every step of the way and was very helpful, efficient, professional and courteous. I'm extremely happy with the service I received here and will be referring them to friends and family. My only complaint was that I didn't call Valley Plumbing sooner!

I have used Valley plumbing for twenty years. The quality of service has rapidly declined since ownership was changed. Robert came to my home to fix a leaking Kohler faucet. He said he did not have the part and would get back to me with an estimate. In the meantime, he wanted $68 just for inspecting the problem. The estimate did not come until I called. The estimate was for $184.97. The part was a simple Kohler cartridge which cost $15. Valley Plumbing wanted $253 for a simple faucet repair. If Robert had the part, the bill should have been around $100. Valley Plumbing, however, finds it more profitable not to stock parts but to go to Ferguson Plumbing Supplies as needed and then jack up the bill on the consumer. When I complained, a representative of Valley Plumbing said he would investigate and get back to me. He never did which added ""unresponsive"" to ""unethical"" in the rating.

Valley Plumbing was great to work with and their communications, and Customer support are great! They installed a whole house water filter and a few other improvements and did a great job! As other reviews note, this is not the cheapest firm to hire. They are very thorough, provide a robust ""back room"" support and are bonded/insured. So they charge for all of that! If you want a better value, this is not the firm for you, but you will get what you pay for.

Brian, arrived on time. He was polite and knowledgeable. He completed the task calmly and timely. He even taught me a little plumbing!!

Not up front with pricing method! Tech came out for a 70.00 fee . I already told them what was wrong .I am in the Construction business and have numerous years of knowledge. My water spigot needed to be replaced. A 13.00 part from Lowes or Home Depot. The whole job should have taken 45 Min Max. My quote $220.00. Are you kidding me?? When I asked him how he came up with this price he said it was upfront pricing. So I told you what needed to be repaired and they charged me $70.00 for telling them what needed to happen. They could have told me on the phone what the price was ! But chose to show up and rob me of me money. Scandelous!!

After three visits and too much money spent, they were unable to fix a leaky toilet. Without looking at anything on the fourth visit, the plumber was fixated that it was because of roots. He wouldn't even look at the problem without me agreeing to pay if there were roots. On top of that, at least two of their employees were rude to my tenant. I refused him, and I will never use them again.

Great customer service! They are fantastic with scheduling and communication. Their prices however, are astronomical. Easily 2-3 times more then other smaller businesses. If I'm in a pinch I'd use them again but now I know better and will give my business to smaller, individually owned plumbing companies.

First of all, this company does not allow you to write your honest review on their website unless they first approve it.

Be aware, Valley Plumbing is extremely expensive!!!!! We had new kitchen pipes installed underneath the kitchen sink, a new kitchen faucet installed and a new garbage disposal installed. Before their tech arrived we had removed all the pipes, faucet and disposal (it was a clean slate). We also had already purchased all of the supplies needed for the installation (pipes, faucet, disposal, parts, etc.). It took the tech about one hour and 15 minutes to complete this task and they charged over $600.00 and that was just for labor.

We were experiencing a garbage odor before the tech came and that odor continued after their work was done. We expressed this to the tech at the time of installation and also made a follow up call for this to be resolved. When the same tech came back a week later he snaked the line but said he couldn't smell anything (he was wearing a mask and pulled it down for a few seconds to smell the debris that was on the snake line). He said the only other thing Valley Plumbing could do would be to send their ""sewer plumber"" to send a camera down the line to further investigate or bomb the house to see if there is a sewer leak. The price for the camera alone was over $1,100.00. We declined their two suggestions.

We eventually had to remove several of the newly installed pipes ourselves to get to the original pipe that leads to the sewer line (underneath the sink). That pipe was full of dried debris and a garbage odor so, we cleaned it with a brush and then flushed the pipe. When the tech first came to do the install he said he would flush the line but he never did that. This should have been done at the time of installation, the paying customer should not have had to finish this job.

I highly recommend that you choose a different plumbing company to do your job.
*Full disclosure, the tech was polite, on time and did arrive with a mask, gloves and booties on. He also asked permission to take his gloves off to do the work. We were told that we would receive a call from the office to check on the service that was provided, however, we never received a phone call.

Great business, great gal who took order over the phone, Ana, then Isaiah replaced our garbage disposal. Took 2 1/2 hours till complete from initial phone call, very fast. Another plumber said 4 days, then a 4 hour wait. Valley obviously has well trained, professional staff with great people skills. Price was very good. Use these guys, you'll b happy you did.
