Starting in the East, in Hell's Kitchen, N.Y., my journey began in the sanitation sector. This experience brought me to the West Coast, where I settled in Las Vegas in the 1950s to contribute to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Having extensive experience in construction, I am familiar with the gaming industry from my time back East. I saw the difficulty in sourcing quality labor: “it’s almost an impossible task.”
