VAR serviced our heater. Jason explained the whole procedure and was very friendly. He also offered to inspect our filters. We agreed so he inspected them and let us know that they were still clean. He also gave us information about how to keep the air in our house clean. VAR reminds us every spring and fall that it is time to have our air conditioner or heater serviced. We appreciate that reminder. So all in all a very pleasant experience.

We currently had a new AC unit installed by VAR. They were priced fair. Great financing. They were out here and gave us our estimate within 24 hours of calling. They told us things that 4 other companies failed to inform us. Everything was delivered and installed as told. Staff was very friendly and respectful. Steve Mendrin was amazing and put no pressure on us. I highly recommend VAR!

I've used VAR a couple of times in the past, once for a fan motor replacement on an ancient a/c unit (incredible they found one, and installed it on the 4th of July), and then again over the phone they helped me determine the issue with the condenser and I was able to take care of it myself. Fast forward, today finished the installation of 2 new units, one heat and one a/c. Jose and Frank did the installation and were beyond professional and answered all my questions. Anthony came out ahead of the job to measure for special duct work, and Simon was the man in sales who came out to give me the estimate. Everyone in the office was very knowledgable and nice. It only lasted 2 and a half days, too. Great work, I'm very happy. I'd recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

We are quick to post a negative review, but I felt it important to tell people when I am happy with a company's service. I have been having my ac/heating system serviced and repaired for years by Valley Air. LOVE 'EM! The service is great, timely and they make every effort to make sure I get my fave tech who is amazing. The office staff is very courteous and friendly when I call in. I don't think you will be disappointed with this company.

I purchased a complete system for both levels of my home in 2009. Everything went according to plan. This year we noticed the lower unit not getting hot; they sent out a tech named Jason. Clean, well mannered, took off his boots, friendly and knew what he was talking about. My problem was determined to be a factory issue; but Jason is ordering the parts and will have it done before Christmas. All under waranty. As a company can only be judged by how well they deal with a problem and by the staff they employ; I can only say these folks have done a great job for me; I would use them again, and would recommend them to anybody.

I have used VAR in the past for my AC unit and they are very knowledgable and fixed my problem right away, the employee was very nice too, definitely would recommend them to anyone!!

Do not waste your time and money with Valley Air Con & Repair!! We called them to come out to give us a price for a new filter pad for our swamp cooler. They gave us an estimate for $550 worth of work. We decided to try a different company & they did the job for $200, they also said we did not need the work that Valley Air had quoted us on. We had our swamp cooler working again for more than half the price! I will never do business with Valley AC!

Our system wasn't blowing cold air and line was freezing up. Called them out to check and do the routine maintenance. They diagnosed our system as having a bad compressor and said we would need to replace entire unit. Since Valley Air no longer works with home warranty service and believing we had a bad compressor, we had another company come to check it under home warranty after having to wait 3 days in the heat with no AC. They found the problem to be a leaky $10 valve and low on freon. They also commented that this was obvious and the compressor was fine. Other company replaced the valve and recharged the unit. Its been working perfectly since.

I took my concerns to Valley about the original diagnosis and eventually made contact with a manager who I explained the whole ordeal to. In the end, they chose to stick to their original findings and insist we have a bad compressor. However, it is working normally.

This may be a good company with good/competent workers but if you have issues with their service, beware. They may stick to their guns even when they are wrong and given every opportunity to make it right. I can't recommend this company for service. Im sure my problem could have been solved by replacing the entire system and $5k later..but fortunantly we didn't have to go that route.

I called VAR to repair our dual-pac. the AC had stopped working. the tech replaced the motor, but he apparently damaged the fan in the process. The AC now worked but was very very noisy. I called them to complain the same day, they sent the same kid over, he gave me a story about how the AC unit is too old, and nothing could be done to fix the noise. I asked specifically about the fan, ( it was obvious that the fan was the problem) which he denied.

A few days later I called again to complain, and they sent a differant tech out at my request. This tech admitted that the fan was damaged, and said a new one would be ordered.

A couple days later a 3rd tech came to install the fan. He wanted $200 more to fix the fan that thier tech had damaged.(had allready paid $447. ) after more complaining they agreed to do it for $88, which they claim was the cost of the fan. Based on my internet research the cost should be about 1/2 that.

I paid the $88, and now the AC works properly, but I will never do business with this company again.

Right now I'm shopping for a new dual-pac for my rental property and would not consider using VAC.

I've had several very pleasant experiences with VAR over the past year and a half. They've installed new AC unit, replaced water heater, and today repaired garbage disposal and leaky toilet. All technicians who've come out have been very knowledgeable and pleasant. Labor charges have been reasonable. All of the technicians have educated me on preventative maintenance which I really appreciate. I referred a friend and found out that there was a referral reward which was such a wonderful surprise in the mail. I will definitely use them in the future.
