On July 29th I found some water in my garage and I traced out that water came from hot water tank area. I submit a claim to HWA and they said valiant plumbing will work on that and I need to pay only $75/00. The technician came on Friday July 31 and they told me need to replaced. They also told me they will come back with replacement after contacting with HWA and to get the approval. Then the HWA authorization team call me and told me I need to pay them $495 to them as a non cover parts. I asked HWA I need to the tech? She (HWA) told me not to pay them anything that will be billed by HWA. The tech. came in and working on Saturday they asked for a checked $275/00. I tell them about HWA and Jason call me about the check. Then I called HWA and she apologized and gave me the estimate (NNCS: disposal $50 + copper mods $275 + drip legs $85 + drian pan $85 = $495 pay to the technician.) I verify the market value of those parts are ( drain pan from Home depot is $22.99, drip legs( Lowes) $33.98 and the copper mods (lowes) $28.58 plus disposal $50 and that should be total =135.45 ) Looks funny. I asking for the purchase receipt to valiant plumbing they said HWA will be provided but HWA doesn't reply my email. I believe both parties have something else. very very poor condition.

I would give ZERO stars if that was an option. Our master shower drain is clogged. Last Friday - instead of snaking the line - the tech from Valiant poured a corrosive chemical down the drain, which resulted in an awful sulfur smell for 24 hours. Tech said if that didn't work he would come back Monday. On Sunday, drain was still clogged - so we called Home Warranty of America and they alerted Valiant. No call on Monday from them. Called HWA on Monday and they again called Valiant - and were told plumber would call us. No call until Tuesday. Appointment was set for Wednesday between 1-4. No show. No call from them. Called HWA back and now we will have to pay another trade call fee for another plumbing company. On top of this - when we flush our toilet in the other bathroom- water is now coming up in the clogged shower drain. This did NOT happen prior to Valiant pouring a corrosive down the drain. Totally unprofessional and when you call the number, you get "Stacy's" voicemail. Do NOT use them!

do NOT use this company!!!! they are terrible!!!! I have been with a broken toilet for 1 week, they came because Choice home warranty sent them and cashed the $45 service call check and have not return to complete the repair or called back. I have called about 5-6 times already and nothing! no response! no one answeres...

I sound like everyone else and should have checked Yelp before they came. They came on February 26 to put in a new hot water dispenser, and this is through HWA. They checked it out and advised me they would have to order the unit. On March 21 Jason came to replace it. After an hour or so he said he didn't have the right parts to finish the job, took his unit back and advised me he would order another unit. I noticed he didn't bring the expensive unit we had, after I told him we wanted the same brand. I was gone a week, but on my return on April 8, I called two days in a row. No answer. I called HWA and Stacy answered. She, then, called me back and said she was trying to get a hold of me all week to schedule an appointment. I didn't have any calls from her, but I didn't say anything. I was busy the the following week, so we scheduled Jason to come on April 18. Talked to Stacy again that Monday before my appointment to double check. Today is the 18, and no Jason! Called Stacy. No Stacy! Called HWA and they told me Stacy called them around 10:30 and said they were not able to do it and to give it to another plumber!!!!! No call from them at all! Do not use them!

After my water heater went out, my home warranty company assigned them to my claim. I called and called and no one EVER called me back! They don't answer the phone, and no service whatsoever.

These people have horrible customer service! They never answer the phone and they hang up on you and don't call you back.

I wish were were negative reviews. Do not hire Valiant, Jason reported inaccurate information to HWA Home Warranty that we installed a RO system that caused a leak vs there was already a RO system installed before he visited first time.
First he wanted to charge me a difference of $500 for the disposal that I wanted to install and told thats the price he is buying vs Homedepot is selling the same for $175.
I was assigned Valiant via HWA Home Warranty.
While installing the disposal he realigned the drain pipe causing that to leak. Now he wants an additional charge to fix the broken things.
Plumbing parts from my house were also stolen by the same guy.
DO NOT DEAL WITH IT.

It started off great with a prompt trip to our house for a home warranty claim on our water heater. Jason said there were several things it could be and there was a certain order he had to do through our warranty company. The first repair didn't stick so I called him back to come back out on Friday. He said he had to order a part and would call me on Monday to do the repair. On Tuesday I called him since he had not called and couldn't remember who I was. He said he would check with the home warranty company again and call back. Wednesday I called him again before leaving town and he said he had not gotten the claim I told him I had verified twice once on Friday and again on Tuesday it had been sent he said he would call them back and figure it out. I got back on Friday after close with still no word from him. In my mind he should have called back at any point after calling our warranty company to say he was having issues.

Long story short. Do NOT use this guy!
Our water heater began leaking. Our home warranty company called this guy. He came out and declared the unit had to be replaced. He said he'd come back the next day with the new unit. He called the next day to say that a conversion part was necessary and the 2 plumbing supply companies in Austin ( pop. 1 million) did not have it but would be in early next week.
Thus began the series of new excuses and multiple reschedulings. "The part didn't come in". "The part came in but was left on the truck ". " The part is in but it was too late in the day for him to get before the store closed" I stayed in contact with our warranty company and we both kept the pressure on him.
Still, it was 10 days without hot water.
Never use Valiant Plumbing.

After our water heater drain valve suddenly blew off and soaked our garage, we were assigned Valiant to perform the work to repair (ultimately replace) the water heater. After I read the reviews here, I was extremely concerned and considered calling HWA to request another company. However, we were in a bind with no hot water and company arriving the next day.
We were told by HWA, that they would be out first thing the next morning. When I hadn't heard from anyone by 9:30am the next day, I called and spoke to Jason. He said he had other jobs and could not be there until between 4 and 6pm. Again, I was worried and a little annoyed. However, Jason showed up when he said he would, diagnosed the situation and spoke with HWA for a while. He said he could not complete the replacement until two days later. Not what we wanted to hear, but we were thankful to have it covered (minus the cost of bringing everything up to code - totally understandable, which we discussed and I approved to HWA prior to any work being completed).
Jason showed up on the day and the time when he said he would. They had everything up to code and the new heater plumbed in about 1.5 hrs. He walked us through the new heater, code updates, how to operate/maintain the heater and how to prevent sediment buildup going forward (we're relatively new to TX hard water).
Overall, Jason and Kelly showed up when they said they would, performed good work in a timely manner. I'm not sure how my experience was so different than some of the others on here, but I'd like to say ours was as positive as it could have been (when dealing with plumbing issues)
