When the gas company shut off our gas unexpectedly due to a gas leak on our property, we were at a loss about who to call. We had several quotes and all were going to run us in the $3,000 range to replace the entire line, including digging a trench across the lawn and through the sidewalks. It was a nightmare. I was given a referral for Jim at Valco Plumbing. He was the last plumber we had out and was going to be our final estimate. I am so glad we called. Jim and his crew took care of the entire problem in a single day. We were able to get the city to sign off on the permits and get the gas company back out to turn us back on by 7pm that night. The final price was $1775. I was completely impressed with the work as well. They were able to do all of this without tearing up a single sidewalk. The lawn was put back together at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this plumber.
