This plumber is very shady and I would not recommend dealing with them. I asked them to come out to give me an estimate to repair my on-demand hot water heater. They came out and insisted I pay them the $104 service charge before they would tell me what's wrong and what the estimate was. Now mind you, this service charge does not come off once you proceed with the service, it's a totally sunk cost. The estimate was over $750, on top of what I already paid, to repair the unit, almost $400 of which was labor. I had to have this unit repaired before and I was confused by the labor charge since I knew it was just a couple of screws to put the parts in. When I asked why it was so much, the helpful staff put me in touch with the owner. When I tried to get from him the breakdown in the labor cost, how many guys was his estimating and for how long, he got very rude with me and said he didn't have to explain his labor charges or anything else to me or anyone else. I told him it was good business to do so and that I do it all the time in my business, and not only is it good business, I think it's the law. Needless to say, I went with another repair shop, Fallsburg Gas who was very helpful. I ended up paying $160 to get it fixed and that included parts!! Be wary of this place, they will definitely try to rip you off. I'm sorry that got $104 of my money ripped off so I'm hoping by reading this review, other people will beware and go somewhere else.
