Ryan Dolan of Val Betti did a great job installing a new bathroom vanity fixture for my mom. He was prompt, very clean in all aspects of the work, and took the old stuff away. He was friendly and professional. The pricing was very reasonable. Overall an excellent experience for my mom.

Had a problem with bad smells in the house; called all around; found just a few plumbers who were ready/willing/available to talk about it on the phone. Of those, found just one, Val Betti, with a brilliant idea as to what it could be (trap gone dry through disuse.) And the idea appears to have been right. No bad smells today. No house call needed. No charge. Hats off.

We have called several plumbers over the past year to deal with small but significant problems. Here is what we found: One never called us back. Two never showed up. Three had full time jobs and ours would have been a side job they wanted to ""fit-in"" to their regular work schedule. A couple of them wanted us to text them pictures of the problem so they could diagnose it without having to make a house call. (We did and it helped expedite things.) Val Betti was the only one that called back right away. The person we spoke with was highly knowledgeable. The plumbers who arrived to do the work were professional, courteous, covered their feet to avoid bringing dirt in the house. And most of all, they did very good work and their price was reasonable and fair. We will call Val Betti again and recommend them to others.

These guys are the best! My dogs broke a pipe to a spigot in my backyard which caused a major leak. After calling a few plumbers who were booked for the day Val Betti was able to fit me in and had the pipe repaired in half an hour. The price was very reasonable and the work was great.

These guys were terrific and I will certainly turn to them again should I have plumbing needs.

Star #1 - A pipe bringing water into the water heater sprung a leak. I had to turn the water for the house off. I called 3 other recommended plumbers but they were all too busy. Val Betti sent someone the next morning.

Star #2 - They listened to me carefully and respectfully as I explained and showed them the problem and what the overall challenge of our plumbing system is. Since we have also put in some of our own passive solar water heating system this was important to me. They were absolutely respectful of our own work, which I really appreciated as a woman because I have often been condescended to for doing my own handyman work.

Star #3 - The plumber discussed various options with me and the potential costs. Once agreed, he installed everything lightening fast.

Star #4 - They cleaned everything up nicely.
Star #5 - Extremely fair price...much better than I expected.

Val Betti has come to our condo three times and each time, they have been professional and done the job well. On the first visit they reconfigured all of the plumbing underneath our kitchen sink, which was a spaghetti like maze of different pipes when we moved in. Leaks too. I actually sent a picture before hand to Val and he said it was very fixable so we went ahead. The job was done well. The second visit was a response to a bathroom leak. On the third visit Ryan arrived to put in new shower fixtures and a new sink faucet. The plumbers are very competent, and it is easy to communicate with the office and go over options and get opinions. They went to great lengths to recommend a shower/tub diverter that would work with plumbing already in the wall. (Again I just e-mailed pictures of what was in place.) They make accommodations on your schedule and needs. Highly satisfied. Glad they are local. We will continue to use them.

Needed a quick response to a leaking shower diverter which was leaking behind the tile. Called Val Betti plumbing, they answered almost immediately, I spoke to Val himself, he said no problem he understood the issue. They were over the next day and were in and out in about 2 hours. Val Betti staff was very professional, extremely reasonable on price, clean, and most importantly they were timely. I highly recommend Val Betti Plumbing, you won't regret it.

Update 7/13/15 - After speaking with the owner, he was kind of enough to listen in on my concerns. I changed it to a 3 star because although the guy who came out was not the best person to work with, I think the workmanship was okay. Please read my previous review below before considering this. The owner said he will address the issues and correct to improve on the customer experience with their plumbers. I am not taking back what I said because it was all true and he did say that he charged $10 for unscrewing the faucet head, which took him less than 30 seconds to do. I hope they correct this issue with their employee, so the next customer will not have to go through what I went through. Thanks Val for letting me vent over the phone.

Nickle and Dimming...after having them install my new garbage disposal, I asked if he could use his wrench to unscrew my faucet so I can attach my filter. Took him 30 seconds to do and charged 10 bucks after having him install a $460 disposal. You would think they would be nice enough to do it free of charge. And after taking a dump, yes I said dump in my bathroom, he still charged 10 bucks more. Needless to say, I will not go back to them - even after him knowing I need more work to be done to other properties. What a rip! What the heck are people saying, 4 and 5 stars! It's more like 2 1/2. Very disappointing
