I have been using V-R Plumbing for years, and they have been great. They quickly figure out the problem, don't overcharge for their services, and are straightforward and upfront. Shane and Jassen have always been friendly and professional; I was really surprised to read the other reviews. I have consistently had great experiences with V-R, I did get other quotes for certain things from some Salt Lake companies who were much more expensive and tried to tell me I needed more things fixed.

We have used VR Plumbing for many years, and we have always found them to be extremely efficient and courteous. VR Plumbing is family owned. The father, Vern, and his sons are friendly and conscientious. I have many examples of their competency. For example, we recently discovered one morning that our water heater had gone out. Amazingly, one of the sons was out to our house within an hour and by noon time we had a new working water heater.

I have read some of the negative reviews about VR, and they seem a little unfair. While there are standard jokes about how much plumbers charge, VR Plumbing's charges seems to be inline with others in the building trades, i.e. electricians, roofers, etc.

I read John M's review about Vern being surly, which I think may be a mischaracterization. The family is quiet and private without a lot of hype. What is important is that they are competent and an important part of the Park City business community. I highly recommend them.

We were a customer for years but after several occasions that phone calls were not returned, we quit using them. Vern, the owner can be surly and difficult to work with.

I needed a plumber to inspect my sump pump as I had recently purchased my home and wanted to know if it was operating properly. The older guy Vern showed up and convinced me these things aren't reliable and that he couldn't tell how old mine was and recommended replacement. I said sure so into the crawl space he went. While he was down there I called my real estate agent who informed me the pump was new as it was replaced by Vern's son during escrow.

When Vern exited the crawl space I told him he replaced the a new pump his son had just replaced. He called his office and his son hadn't entered the replacement in the computer. He became surly, argumentive. Was it a legitimate mistake? Did he know replacement was unecessary? You mean to tell me it can't be determined how old the pump was which was working perfectly. Either way I'd never let these guys on my property again.

Quick service but was quoted 3 hr work and ended up paying almost double the quote.
They did get the job done but was disappointed in the final cost. Nice family operation.

I wanted to use a local plumber here in Park City. Called VR twice and even filled out their online request for service form. Never got a call back. Very disappointing!
