Put in a work order via American Home Sheild (AHS) on Friday AM, assigned USA Plumbing, texted on Friday early afternoon, and received a callback EOD Friday. Pleasantly surprised I could get an appointment for Monday.

Apollo called on Monday and asked if he could come earlier than the planned service window. He arrived 20 minutes later, replaced my leaking 15-year-old garbage disposal, and was out in 18 minutes flat.

Apollo was super polite, communicative, professional and 100% knew his stuff. Best experience I've ever had with an AHS-assigned professional.

Total scam. Through my home warranty, I had USA Plumbing come out to diagnose 3 issues at my house.

The technician was rude, dismissive, and actually tried to walk out the door after only looking at 1 of the issues. It was clear he had no interest in doing the work. For the 1 issue he actually looked at, he just told me to fix it myself. For the other 2, he claimed he needed to write up a diagnostic and they would come back later for next steps. This never occurred and I still do not know what the problem is.

USA Plumbing then dodged 20+ follow up emails, texts, and phone calls from both me and the warranty company. On the off chance I did get an admin to pick up the phone, I got the same answer. She's reached out to the technician and is awaiting a response.

Fast forward 2 months later and my request was closed due to too much time passing. I got stuck with the bill for a diagnostic, got nothing fixed, and didn't even actually receive a diagnosis. 5+ hours wasted on this scam business

Totally unprofessional company, avoid at all costs. AHS assigned them to us for service. They show up, take your money and say they will get back to you after getting authorization from AHS. That does not happen. Finally, when you call the company to inquire, regarding the work, you only get the phone answering service. The female voice clearly states they will get back to you, but that does not happen. If you hear their name mentioned for service, run, run very fast.

USA plumbing came out to inspect a leaky faucet. Apolo gave me a text heads up that he was on the way so I could plan around my work meeting. AHS does not cover outside faucets turns out. I missed the fine print on that one, but he gave me some easy step-by-step instructions on how to fix it. Apolo was professional and helpful. I did pay the service fee through AHS, which wasn't ideal, but at the end of the day, I have a solution that worked and no more leaking faucet.

AHS sent them out on 3 occasions. They do not call back or text. They will forward your calls... tell AHS that they completed the work, when they have not been to the home. Poor company and should not be a referred company.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ANY COST! Not trustworthy, dishonest, lazy, and totally unprofessional. We got in contact with them through our home warranty company - American Home Shield (AHS). The guy told me that my 20 year old faucet needed to be completely replaced including opening the wall and replacing all the water pipes because there were no parts available to repair it! All it needed was a new cartridge (needless to say, cartridges are widely available on the faucet's website as well as Amazon). We contacted AHS and requested a second opinion. However, AHS hasn't been able to fulfil our request because the plumber refuses to provide a report and without the report AHS can't move forward! It's been two months since we filed the request.
American Home Shield, please get rid of them! You are losing customers because of crappy service by your contactors like USA Plumbing! We are not planning on renewing our contract as this is not worth our time and energy.

Not the most professional company. Told me it would take a week or so for a part and never came back. The girls that take calls (Lola and Sheila) don't answer any of their calls. I frequently called their office to confirm if the parts arrived and they blew me off. I attempted to further reach them, without a response, so I contacted AHS (who frequently does business with this weird company) and they told me they were going to escalate the situation. The situation was not escalated, I had to threaten my membership with them in order to make them see the issue with this company. This company needs more intact professionals running the counter and not chatty girls who do not understand what or how a business is ran. You all are happily running your customers away. I am entirely disappointed in this experience in both USA pluming and AHS (American Home Shield). I recommend all Austin users to not go forward with this company, especially if you need emergency work done. AHS should cancel their contract with this weird half business as you tarnish their reputation as a incompetent plumbing company. I hope you know that these reviews don't just go on Yelp.

TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! They were assigned by my warranty company. We have a leaky water heater that needs to be replaced ASAP. "USA" wouldn't bother to call me back ever. I called and texted them a dozen times. They texted me 2 sentences about an estimate after 5pm and then ignored me for another full business day. Finally I went with another company due to their lack of communication. They were only responsive when I sent them 6 one star Yelp reviews confirming their consummate unprofessionalism. Too late! Zero stars! Don't let them waste your time!

USA plumbing is pathetic, never returns calls... have had cold showers for over 2 weeks. No call backs, no shows, no help. Useless, never use these guys even if you warranty company sends them to you, request another company.

Apolo from usa plumbing came to fix an issue and he said he is missing a part and would come a day later. But he is no show after that and like another reviewer said, they havent updated american home shield (AHS) and now AHS doesnt want to help
