My first experience with USA Pipe Repair was a good one. They were able to get a really deep clog that another plumber wasn't able to get. I liked them enough that I called them again. We were finishing our basement, so needed all the pipes to be moved above the joists so we could install a drywall ceiling, and to have some old copper pipes replaced, one of which was leaking. The technician was able to give me an estimate right away and was even able to do part of the job that day--fixing the leaky pipe by actually rerouting it and bypassing the whole section. We then made an appointment for him to do the rest of the work the following week. When he finished the rerouting, I pointed out to him that the discarded pipe was below the level of the joists and would need to be removed. He said he would do that next time he came. The next week, he came very late, to the point I thought he'd forgotten. But he showed up eventually and was in a very big hurry. I also noticed he left multiple times. I assumed he was getting lunch or had to buy a part or something, but later he told me he was stepping out to go to other appointments. When he was done, he asked for payment, without even showing me the work he'd done. I asked him to show me what he'd done first. We went down to the basement and I saw that there were two pipes below the joists. One, he said he couldn't do anything about because it was going through cinder block. The second was the pipe I had reminded him to remove the first time. I was disappointed he couldn't reroute the pipe going through the cinder block, and was surprised he didn't let me know until I pointed it out. But what killed me was the pipe I'd already reminded him to remove the week before! You could tell he was in a hurry. He told me that I'd gotten a steal on the work he'd already done and that we could just cut the pipe off with a sawzall and cap it off ourselves. My husband was not happy about that when he came home that day. He got even more upset when he looked under the sink and realized that the pipe the guy was supposed to cut out and cap off was covered by a plastic baggy. So the only thing between us and toxic sewage gas was a plastic baggy! I called the next day and they sent the same guy out again to finish the job. He charged me an additional $50. In his defense, at the beginning of the second visit, I did ask him to cap the pipe off at a different point, so this might have made the job harder? When he charged me the $50, he mentioned this change. It still felt like I was being charged for a job I'd already paid for. A couple of weeks later, we realized that before drywalling, we wanted to run a waterline up to where our fridge is. After our previous experience, I was not interested in calling USA Pipe Repair again, so I called another plumber. He came out and while looking at pipes to price out the job for us, noticed a host of issues from the job that USA Pipe repair did. One in particular was very concerning and he suggested I call the company back who did the work and have them fix it. He said that it might not cause problems right away, but the way they put the ring around the pipe fitting to hold the pipe onto the fitting was not right and down the road the pipe might come loose or pop off. When I went to call, I made the mistake of calling the number on an old business card instead of the office. I reached the Service Manager. He gave me the office number, but also asked what the problem was. I explained what the other plumber had said and my concern about leaks in the future and asked that someone come out and redo it. He did not diffuse the situation or try to make it right. He spit out his words. He was upset that I would dare to call about something that wasn't currently leaking. He said there was no standard for how to crimp fittings and that the band could be anywhere on the fitting, even hanging off the end. No standard. I'm no plumber, but that doesn't seem right. He then had me tell him who the plumber was that told on them and that he was going to call up his boss. I was not expecting an exchange like that. I'm used to managers who have the skills to diffuse a situation instead of escalating it.I assumed they would try to appease me or ease my mind about the way they crimped the fittings. Instead I just got anger that they were called out. It ended with him to telling me to go ahead and call the office. It sounded like a dare. I did not accept his dare--I wasn't interested in having to watch them like a hawk to see if they'd do the job right the second time. I ended up having the second plumber come out (White Glove Plumbing--love them). He felt sorry for me having to pay twice for the same job and definitely undercharged me. Maybe USA Pipe Repair is right and there is no standard for how to crimp a fitting. But one thing I do know is that I would prefer a plumbing company that has high standards and finishes a job they start!

I am thrilled with the job they did for us. They did exactly what they said they would do, in less time, and under budget. This was after another company goofed up the job first.

We had a water main break on a Saturday while out of town. A relative was able to shut off the water to the house until we were able to get home. Long story short, DH found USA Pipe Repair, a small family owned business, who was able to deliver a quote, get Miss Utility to come out and locate the underground lines, obtain the needed permit from the County and drill a new water pipe without tearing (trenches pipe repair!) up my yard and restore water service to my house all in the same day! The entire drilling process and reconnection of water took less than 2 hours! Amazing!

We are delighted with their work and with commitment to restoring our water service as quickly as possible and without tearing up my yard and driveway to do it! They worked us into an already busy day to help us. You just do not get that kind of commitment from many companies.

I am very pleased with USA Pipe Repair and would call them again. Cody and his team tried a few different ways to clear my blocked kitchen sink, but it was ultimately done the next day by interior specialists Shawn and Jeff. They gave me a nice deal on the work and I genuinely enjoyed hovering, watching, and chatting with the guys while they worked.

No more handwashing in the bathroom sink, we are running the dishwasher tonight!

I'm sure most of the people working there are professional but NOT the fellow they sent to my house. Find another company

Unprofessional attitude/tone of voice/behavior.

I contacted USA Pipe Repair because I had a broken pipe that left my house without water. I spoke to the same rep on two calls. On the first call he told me he would have another rep who was closer to my location give me a call and asked me to text him my address, which I did. Within an hour I called back to let the rep know I was going to have to leave and what time I would return. The rep immediately responded with a frustrated tone of voice and told me to give him ten minutes and he could let me know how much longer he would be - which was not a question I had asked him. But because of his rude tone of voice, I told him to cancel the call.

Immediately, I began receiving texts from the rep, telling me what work he had been doing earlier in the morning; he couldn't understand why I had cancelled the call and that he was really close to my house, and what street he was on. I responded only once to the texts with ""I have cancelled the call.""

Incredibly, a few minutes later, he and a co-worker arrive at my house anyway! I had already cancelled the service call verbally and in writing!

I let him know very directly what I thought of his lack of professionalism and told him to leave the property which he eventually did after making several arguments about why I should not have gotten angry nor cancelled the call. As he left, he said he would be taking a shower at his house where he does have water.

If I could rate lower than one star, I would!

These guys did a terrific job. I just bought a new house and the main line that runs between my house on the road at a leak
I was faced with the decision to excavate my new yard that has poured concrete in a new porch or have Cody and his crew Leah new pipe underneath the entire yard without any problem at all. They managed to bring the pipe up exactly where it needed to be.
In the basement next to the hot water heater they came up through the floor. I couldn't be happier with their product or their attention to detail.

I found USA Pipe Repair on Home Advisor and they called immediately and Ryan O'Connell came within 2 business days to look at the issues my 1940 home was having and give me an estimate. He and another member of the team then worked very hard for 2 entire days. They 1) rerouted a kitchen drain line to bypass a blocked underground pipe. 2) fixed cross linked hot and cold supply to the bathroom including replacing shower faucet and shower head. They were courteous and professional and I am very relieved that these issues are taken care of. I'll be calling them with any future work I need! Thanks!
