USA Leak found my initial leak.
It was located in one of my outdoor sprinkler valves.
After had it fixed, I still had another small leak. (about 0.2 gal/hour)
They came out, and eventually needed to use helium, but they found it even this tiny leak.

They were professional, friendly, and effective.

Think twice before you use this company. If you are asked to pay for services up front, do yourself a favor and insist on paying only after they have performed the service.
I am experiencing water leaks in my home and sought their services to take moisture measurements, and identify the like sources/causes of the leaks. I was asked to pay for services and sign documents up front before any work was done. Promises were made about using the latest leak detection equipment and providing a report with the moisture measurements taken and images from the use of their infrared camera. One technician went so far as to promise that they'd be coming back within the next 30 days to ensure the job was done right, including taking measurements on a rainy day. That did not happen. Instead, they made an appointment on a date that I said I could not be available. I arranged for them to have access and raced back from my appointment but they were already gone. They then sent me a written report devoid of any moisture or other measurement data and incorrect information about the location of the leaks. When I asked them to submit a corrected report, they said that they don't provide certification, which is not what I asked for. I simply wanted the report to reflect the measurements and images they took and indicate the likely locations/sources of the leaks. They did not. So rather than helping to solve the problem, they took advantage of the situation and just took my money. I've asked for a refund and would not recommend using them.

Called and spoke with David. Hired them for a main line leak in my house. They used their equipment and found the exact area of leak. Cheapest leak detection I found. Highly recommend.

These guys tried to do a good job but couldn't communicate properly and somehow (after 6 hours!) didn't find a leak that another vendor found in 15 minutes the next day. Avoid.

Suspected of Scam or gross incompetence.

1) My plumber could not identify a leak in my house and told me that it might be the hot water in the wall. So I rushed to hire the real expert USA Leak Detector. Their technician has the equipment and is supposed to find the exact location of the leak, right? They determined it was not the hot or cold water. Great.

2) So they proceed to check the train next to the hot/cold water line with their equipment. Identified it was the drain pipe. The drain pipe under a sink inside the bathroom wall goes down into the sewer line below the concrete foundation. So they are aware that the drain pipe behind the wall is a problem. Did they use their equipment to scan the wall for leaks there?

3) Instead, the technician marked the floor and ground as leak locations in the report - even though the drain pipe 3 feet above ground was cracked instead. In they marked the concrete foundation ground to be open and the sewer line repaired. Then their estimate came in as $6,249.00. I have received another two quotes to break the concrete foundation and fix the underground sewer pipe as per their same report: $2,800 and $3,800. It seems that it is very convenient for their technician to mark the ground instead of the above-ground pipe leak, and then proceed to give an estimate that is totally out of line with others.

4) Another plumber came and identified not the sewer under the concrete foundation, replaced the pipe, put in a camera, and showed no leak below the ground sewer. Frankly, now in retrospect, the sewer line is 3 feet below the concrete slab of the foundation, unless it's clogged which it was not, to have that much water coming out from the concrete to wet the floor seems unlikely.

5) Suspected dishonesty work, I called the company and asked for a refund because their technician did not find the leak location, yet marked a different and difficult location and gave me a quote that is way out of line with other quotes. I got an ear full of excuses, nothing but unstoppable excuses.

6) No refund nor apology was given. I should not have ignored the negative reviews here.

I'm feeling SO much better than I did this morning! USA Leak Detector was able to send someone out within 48 hours and quickly isolated my problem, which turned out to be an outdoor irrigation leak. Not in the house so I was able to turn the main back on! Khalil took the time to explain things to me throughout the entire process and even pointed out a couple other issues that they recommended I address with my water company and handyman. Service was fabulous from the initial phone call to the written report that they sent afterwards with pictures. Thank you, USA Leak Detector!

We were experiencing low pressure and wanted to figure out what was happening. We called and spoke with David, who was very helpful and promptly sent the team for a service call. When the crew showed up they started testing the water pressure, they inspected our pipes and made sure to answer all our questions and offer suggestions on how to increase our water pressure since we have relatively new pipes. The crew was very polite and considerate when walking around the house and the customer service team were terrific. I highly recommend using this company for you plumbing needs!

It's 1pm and my stress has dropped 100x thanks to these guys. Nothing like opening up my EBMUD bill last night to a gigantic bill. After freaking out and figuring out it was my sprinkler system in the back, I arranged that to be taken care of. Shut off the main line and checked the water meter just to be sure. Holy Cow... at 8:15am this morning the water meter was still spinning fast. My heart dropped and my stress went through the roof. Main line leak that runs under my driveway and landscape.
USA Leak Detector to the rescue. Steve answered the call before they were open, got me scheduled for 11-1pm. Showed up at 12pm and started working. With their problem solving skills and tools, they figured out my leak and discovered that it was actually a different irrigation line. My Main Line was intact and I dodged a huge bullet. Steve came out with another supervisor and they were both so helpful and informative. It's 1pm now and thanks to them.... I'm gonna have a cold one and drop a huge Thank You in the karma world for these guys. They saved me some serious money. My lawn is toast but at least I don't have to dig up my driveway to replace that main line.

These guys are amazing! We called them over to take a look at some pipes above the kitchen because we noticed a noise. They were super knowledgeable and showed me how to check the meter outside my house in order to see if there's any leaks. They also told me about a water program that sends text notifications when there are upticks in water usage that can imply water leaks if the water is being used during early morning times when the household is asleep. Super knowledgeable and trustworthy people...would highly recommend them!

USA Leak Detector is AWESOME. We worked extensively with Steve, Jose, David and their team. We first used them for leak detection. They were able to find that we had a large leak in the in the slab of our floor. Unfortunately the only way to repair that was to open up the floor into the slab or re-route our entire piping system. I had reached out to 4 different plumbers to get their opinion on options and estimates. USA Leak Detector had significantly better prices and was able to do the job in 2 days vs everyone else said it would take 5 days or more. We also had asbestos in the walls which made everything more complicated. They were able to find us an affordable and reliable asbestos abatement company. They were always so easy to get in touch with and were very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be recommending them to all of our friends and family that need plumbing services. We are so grateful for USA Leak Detector and can now relax knowing we have all new pipes in the house and everything was done well
