Their invoicing department is useless. I had them over 5 months ago and paid them on the day. I am still getting emails and phone call stating I have an outstanding invoice. I had to waste my time digging up a proof of payment because their books aren't in order and I still get bad attitude from there billing team. I would not recommend them, they don't care about their customers.

Incompetent and totally unprofessional. They do not deserve a single star but yelp forces you to pick at least one. I had a water leak and hired them to detect it. when they showed up, I explicitly asked them to check all the appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher etc..) for leaks as well. In a few minutes, they said, the leak seems to be in the drain pipe under the concrete. Their technicians showed up the next day to confirm it and had no clue how the plumbing works, they come in and make a cut in the wall that is right next to the ""clean out"" and they didn't know that the clean out exists (hard to believe such professional plumbers exist). After making a cut in the wall, they say they will need to cut the drain pipe to be able to run the camera and then quickly add that even if they cut the pipe and run the camera, they can NEVER detect the drain leak since the water pressure in the drain pipe is usually very low. If that was the case, what was the need to make a cut in the wall to begin with?. finally without doing anything more, they just put a red tape on the wall and clearly lied on their report that they ran the camera and found the leak in drain pipe. These guys wanted me to break the floor and also the concrete to get to the drain pipe and repair it. All this just for their guess work.
After doing all this damage and wasting several days on this, they had the audacity to charge me for their service. I kicked them out and hired another company to check on this and within 10 mins they found a very visible water leak under the dishwasher. I sent a video of this leak to these guys so that they hopefully learn some lessons from this.
I now have the wall repaired and dishwasher replaced for about 2 months and no issues (no trace of water) at all. I'm so glad I did NOT do what they wanted me to do.

Side note, they claim to be licensed, I've been asking them for their license number for a long time and they never provide it (neither mention it on their paper work (such as invoice). I checked online and also called CSLB (Contractor State license board) to get their license number but the board can not find USA leak detector in their list of licensed businesses.

if you do decide to work with them thinking they are licensed, you may want to ask for their license number upfront and check with CSLB.

A huge shout-out for Shane who went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot a potential water leak at my house. He walked me through the steps to troubleshoot, was super patient and listened to all my concerns before jumping to any conclusion, I cannot thank him enough. Hopefully I will not have any leak issues in the future, but I would definitely reach out for help in the future if I ran into any problems

We had a water leak behind my family room wall and the water heater closet. My carpet was soaking wet and we reported to the insurance right away. We were looking for plumbers to fix it but they said I have to identify the leak first. So we called USA Leak Detector and they came out the next day with their equipment. They were able to pinpoint the leak area after half an hour probed around my heater area and the family room area. They can even identify the exact pipe which may cause the leak with using their supportive Helium gas to the pipes. They even pointed out that my water heater cold water inlet faucet may needed be replaced which turned out to be true. I am happy with their prompt response and service

Avoid USA Leak Detector and choose a different company. They have been unprofessional and unresponsive. I should've seen it coming-- the first time they scheduled a site visit, they provided a time frame of 10-11am and yet past 12pm, no one had arrived and no one called me. I had to call them to find out why no one came as scheduled and they said their staff were at another job that was going to take the whole day. They asked to reschedule the following week. When they came, they said they'd send the findings report and next steps within a few days. I let a week pass and followed up, but they said they needed another week. This kept repeating another week and then another. I never received the report or next steps and was left on read. Customer service and professionalism at this place is nonexistent-- if you choose them, be ready to do all the outreach and follow ups and not even receive a complete service in the end.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but someone needs to be honest here amongst these glowing reviews (which was why I chose them at first!) and provide a fair and factual review for anyone who may be in the unfortunate need of such services.

These guys were great. They found our slab leak that 4 other plumbers could not find. It was $350 but that point we were happy to pay after 4 ""professionals"" failed to find the leak. Not only did they pin point the leak but recommended some great guys who were able to fix it the same day. They even gave us some tips on how to get a refund from the water company since we've probably had the leak for weeks. A+ service and highly recommended.

I have to say I was nervous when PG&E technician shut off our gas since they think there was a house line leak. Thankfully, I was referred to USA Leak Detector. Working with them (from detection to repair) has been a great experience. David from the office is very professional, patient, and informative. Khalil the technician who came on site twice to make sure all leaks are caught. He's honest, friendly, so helpful and professional. I really appreciated their time and efforts.
