Dana was great!

Our toilet drain pipe clogged, and due to the freezing temperatures, froze. I found Ursillo Plumbing and Heating online and Dana answered immediately. He came over that same night to take a look at the problem and scheduled a time to come back and fix it. He called to confirm, he showed up on time, and he walked me through every step of the process. He not only had to take off the toilet, chip ice out of the drain, snake it, and replace the flange, but also had to take all the insulation out and re-insulate the entire crawl space and then put the floor back.

He was very friendly, his prices were very reasonable, and he explained the costs to me as we went through the project.

I absolutely recommend him and will call him for all our plumbing needs.

Home is a grand dame Victorian that has an old steam system that sometimes acts like the boiler in the movie a Christmas Story. Much swearing & soot!
System is large enough to heat a small Church. Ursillo was very enthusiastic and waded right in. He had it running in about 30 minutes. It was a simple fix. Clogged plumbing. He was very astute and noted that the boiler and plumbing was probably too small for the house. We know this but no other plumber has noted it. Ursillo explained that the sheer size of the system was more commercial than residential. We had a pleasant discussion about the history of steam heat while waiting for the boiler reach temperature. It did so quickly, the radiators were soon making their hiss click noise through out the building. We happy to say we have finally found the Best Man for the job! Definitely be calling again for plumbing & heating! Nothing like a warm home for the holidays!

We needed a quick estimate on work to be done at a home we were waiting to sign a purchase and sale on - Dana answered my phone message within an hour and came to the house the next business day. Much can be said about demeanor.
Exactly one year ago today, on Valentines day, the water pipes leading to our second floor condo unit burst and sent a deluge gushing into our kitchen and worse, through the floor and down into the first floor unit below us. -11° degrees with a 30° below wind chill tends to engage such a burden on older households.

Dana Ursillo of Ursillo plumbing was quick to respond and remediate the rupture with a series of PEX tubing. The damage had been done but the need to get water back online was practically immediate thanks to Ursillo.

That particular day, from what I am to understand, created havoc on many, many houses in the region. Because of this, naturally insurance companies were inundated with claims and therefore dragged their feet in accommodating their clients. When it all settled, Ursillo and his team demonstrated their professionalism and unique care in the long-awaited repair job to our outer wall, lower cabinets and drainage. He provided a perfectly fair quote and remained right on target with costs. New insulation and drywall facing the north has provided an extra level of comfort in knowing that it's not likely to ever happen again. He used the latest in code approach and provided the best materials. There will no longer be a need to consider a plumbing contractor in the event of future needs. Ursillo Plumbing wins all bids.
Getting back to demeanor - Dana Ursillo is a calm and amicable journeymen who has an uncanny ability to detail what might be best for the circumstances surrounding the problem. He walked me through his plan and rationalized his thought process and did so with confidence.
When the insurance coverage was finally provided, Dana was right on top of scheduling the work. He and his coworker took extra care in partitioning off the area with zip-walls and finished the work in the time he presented.

If you've got the need for quality plumbing in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding areas, Ursillo is the way to go.
