I can not sign enough praises about this wonderful company and staff. I had an older client/seller that needed a back flow device installed in Grass Valley required to close escrow. We received a bid that was very reasonable with a senior discount to help seller financially and decided to use Urke. It took less time then they anticipated and was not as complicated as expected. Because less time was involved they reduced the bill but they didn't have to as they had bid the job. My client was so pleased to get an additional refund and completely unexpected. They absolutely did not have to but very honest company and very admirable and rare these days. I give them 10 stars out of 5! I would never use anyone else and highly recommend!

Urke- STAY AWAY

They arrived quickly but then the charges started to mount- $25 bucks a bucket for stuff they pulled out quote was about 700 then went up from there. Paid over $800.00
Then i needed a camera for a busted pipe that was another $228. then $2,000 quote for a broken line- ok but then i wanted them to walk the job with me before my ok to see what they would do right? Couldn't get them out here- they said Doug was busy he would maybe get to me. Then i said ""do you want the job or not"" they said we are very busy and i could go elsewhere.

I own two businesses established 20 years ago and would NEVER tell a customer that. I guess they are too busy for us folks then right?

Like the rest of us sit around all day....

topping that off - then I got an email from Doug Urke insulting me about being pushy and dumber than his 18 year old secretary. ( Email me for a copy of the letter and see for yourself the owners attitude toward the public then you decide if you want to give this company your hard earned money) I paid him $1,000 and I now need to call in another company. Its not like no one knows me here in the county. I do the financial show Money Matters and know a bit about business and money so how smart is a guy that insults the local money talk show/ financial columnist? Apparently not very.

And implying I am dumb as his secretary?

Anyway i feel sorry for his secretary having a boss assume youre dumb for being an 18 year old woman right?

Anyway an insulting email to me was the capper. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

My opinion? Hes awful busy right? Go elsewhere to someone who appreciates your business.

Great job. Crew arrived 10 minutes early. Got right to work. Tank had not been touched in 25 yrs. Not an easy job. They completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. The lady in the office was kind and courteous, when I called to schedule. She was clear when she explained possible pricing variations. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. And what I consider a reasonable price.

I knew we needed our septic tank pumped but was dreading the event because the tank location was buried under our backyard landscaping.... somewhere! I called Urke Septic services and they said ""no problem"". I said ""no mess"". They said ""no problem"".
They had a free time slot right away so I held my breath and said OK, come on over.
They arrived promptly, were very courteous, explained everything to me as I peered over there shoulder and they were done in two hours. Everything was replaced as they found it and there was NO MESS. I don't think it could have gone any better. I am very impressed and highly recommend that you try Urke Septic Services the next time you need septic service. You won't be disappointed!
