During June 2013, I understood that my infant son didn’t know me because I was working for someone else. At that moment my wife and I to make the choice to utilize my extensive plumbing background for our venture. We launched Up A Creek Plumbing LLC and are proud of our decision. We firmly hold it was the right move for us.
I grew up on a ranch in Salmon, Idaho, where I honed my dedication to hard work. I finished high school at Salmon High School and enrolled at the University of Idaho, where I found my partner. We made the move to Oregon due to medical needs. I began my plumbing apprenticeship in December 2003. My early career involved new construction, covering commercial and residential projects until late 2012. After gaining experience with another company in residential service, we started Up A Creek Plumbing LLC in June 2013.

Tricia N.Our water heater went out. They were there in 2 days. Had it fixed that day. Talked us through the process and brought everything up to code. All with a great attitude.
I called a few weeks ago to set this appointment up as it was the only window of time where I could take the day off. Received a confirmation call yesterday from Sara and waited today. The appointment was at 1:00. At 1:20 I called the office to see where the plumber was at. No answer. Called two more times, no answer so I left a message. A few minutes passed, called again and Sara answered the phone. She tried to tell me she had called me (she didn't) to let me know the plumber had gone home sick. When I asked her when he had gone home she became confused and had to ""think"" about it. I'm not sure what happened, but I do know she was dishonest and tried to give me another appointment two weeks out. I said I would pass and called another company who will be here Monday of next week. If a company can't be honest with a customer before they can actually perform the service I hate to think of how they would have handled the job. If you value your time and the dependability of others seek a plumber elsewhere.

When Sara called yesterday to confirm she said, ""We'll see you tomorrow"". There was no directive to call back to confirm, so I did not. Also, I called at 1:20 pm and was told by Sara that the plumber had a bad cold, not food poisoning. Small businesses are close to my heart and I seek them out, but honesty and my time are paramount and that has not been my short experience with your company. And while I appreciate the apology, your stories failing to line up make me grateful I'm taking my business elsewhere.
Jen R.The seal failed on one of my toilets - it was leaking and Shaun managed to squeeze me in and get it fixed for me. He was courteous, efficient and didn't leave a mess!
John M.I had to wait six weeks for the appointment I made, but when Shaun finally was able to get here, he did great work. I had picked Up a Creek because of good Yelp and Nextdoor reviews. I concur!
Had Up the Creek plumbing replace garage disposal yesterday They where great. Jeramey was professional and polity.Work done on time( even a little early) Highly recommend this company
P L.Very up front, honest work. We had a toilet that was leaking and refilling once an hour at the tank. Tech suggested toilet might need to be replaced but didn't push anything. Replaced leaking flapper valve, which appeared to do the trick. Quick service, clean, fair value, and fast. Will use again.
Amy Y.Had a small plumbing need, and the company we'd long trusted was no longer in business. I went to Angie's List in search of a plumber, and came across Up a Creek Plumbing. I admit the name made me giggle, and something about the nice, professional logo drew me in. There were some reviews there, and they were very favorable.
So I gave him a call and got a time set up for him to come out and work on a hopelessly clogged drain.
Something came up, and my husband and I were trying to juggle who could be there at the right time -- turns out neither could. So I called him the day before and asked if we could push the time back just a bit; he was really good in working with us to make it work, and not making a big deal out of it.
He arrived in a meticulous white van with the company logo on it. He's prompt, professional, and very kind and hilarious. :) Clean and quick, he had conquered our minor drain problem the simplest way possible. (To be honest, I was expecting a trap replacement. Whew!)
I couldn't be happier. I'll be happy to do business with him again in the future, and tell everyone I know that if they need a plumber, I know who they should call!
