We have an AO Smith water heater that had an issue with the burner/delayed ignition. The unit was still under warranty and Up2Code was listed as an AO Smith service provider. Contacted them and they let me know parts were covered under the warranty so I only had to pay $250 for labor. Many other plumbing companies will not work on your water heater if it's not their ""preferred"" brand.

We got a plumber to come out on the same day to swap out our faulty parts and put in new ones. The rep on the phone was easy to work with. She was able to look up my water heater and schedule a plumber to come out on the same day to fix our water heater.

If you have an AO Smith water heater contact this company and check to see if it's still under warranty. You might be able to save a ton of money.

Our gas hot water heater was beginning to make loud banging noises and also the pilot wouldn't stay lit. My husband did all of the google suggested fixes and no go. It is 9 years old so I worried about the repair or replacement cost. Called Up2Code and they were extremely helpful and set up an appointment right away and gave us a quote. Kristen (?) called us back right away and said she thought our WH was on a recall and recommended we call the manufacturer. She was right! Not only were the recalled parts covered but also the labor!!! Joe was great and managed to squeeze us in on a Friday afternoon. Two thumbs up for Up2Code.

They are still totally incompetent. I have provided them with documentation of payment twice in the past two years. This amount was paid by credit card, and the person talked to last year acknowledged this after my last review. It just seems that they are too incompetent to actually document the payment in their records.

Don't call them if you need immediate service. Katherine was very nice and put in a big effort to try and get service as least the next day (after no hot water for 3 days), but then later on they cancelled and put back another day. We were without hot water Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday until we called someone else that could come over right away.

Joe came this morning to replace a very badly plumbed-in garbage disposal. We knew it would be a tricky job, as it was obvious the previous owners had done a really bad job of it. He was on time, great and efficient and explained what the problems were and told us what he was going to do to get our approval before he went ahead and did the work. We will be absolutely happy to use them again and happy to recommend!

When our ceiling fell through from a leak in a second-floor shower, they came right out, replaced the offending pipe and recommended an excellent contractor to refinish the ceiling. Super clean and reasonable.

You didn't come for free; your work is (supposed to be ) under warranty.
There is a lot to desire with your company, and I wonder why I should call you and what you think you can achieve on Monday after:

- you publicly called me a liar when I pointed out discrepancies
- you were already here three times
- you revealed your true colors of how you treat customers when things are not your liking

I also waited and chased you down for weeks to get back to me. You didn't come for free because it was not a favor. It was a leaking that still exists. You never showed up in the given timeframe but leisurely whenever it was convenient for you, not considering others.

Branding is something that you want to be recognized by the customers and want them to describe their experience positively.

Requires $125 ""estimate fee"" regardless of customer request. Won't answer questions, says ""every issue is different, we need to see it"" . So, expense is inevitable even if no issue is found.

They've installed a tankless water heater, water pressure regulator and fixed a slow leak I found in our wall. After 3 separate jobs they've done great work, showed up on time and stuck to the estimated price.

Background: After being charged WAY too much from another hometown plumber (to level a toilet ) this company provided a very competitive up front price (the other one wouldn't provide up front estimate). It's great to now have a plumbing company that I know I can trust from now on. Just hire these guys and you won't be sorry.
