Scheduled an appointment with them for today, Friday (called yesterday). 15 minutes before they were to show up, I received a text that they weren't able to make it and asked if Monday would work. I texted back No, this is my only bathtub. My handle on the hot water is bent and he said it should be quick. I didn't shower this morning and not planning to skip a shower all weekend. I took off two hours early from work using vacation time and I wouldn't trust that they wouldn't cancel at the last minute on Monday anyway. Contacted another company with the same rating and they are coming in 30 minutes. Plan to post this on Nextdoor too. Unprofessional and didn't even bother to reach out to me after my text.

Had Doms remove and replace our water heater, bathtub valve, toilet valve and make a new garden hose spigot. As always, Don was timely his work good quality and he beat other proposals by about 10 percent.

Big job or small I can recommend Doms.

We are new to ABQ and New Mexico and found Dom via Nextdoor. He installed a utility sink in garage and also had to move a gas line due to how close was to plumbing stub out.

Water heater started leaking so called Dom's. I was taken back as he started to ask me questions about what I was experiencing and helping me determine if I needed to spend the money or if I could resolve the issues on my own. I ended up asking him to pass by and based on what I had found I needed a replacement. Late in the day and he quickly called around to get the needed parts, came back and installed in just over an hour or it felt fast. I also talked his ear off.

Uh... when you come out to do a quote, you are supposed to give us an actual quote. Quote should include the cost of the repair and the timeline in which you are agreeing to do the job. NOT, ""Hey, I couldn't find a subcontractor to do your job. Good luck!""
That's very unprofessional and NOT helpful. Thanks for wasting my tome inviting you into our house to look at this LARGE project. I gave the 10k job to someone else who wants the job and get it done in 3 days.
