Gilbert Chavez provides honest top-notch service and has been doing it for years. He's the only septic company we've used in almost 27 years in Eldorado. He does what he says, follows through and completes the job professionally. He doesn't change for services you don't need and his prices are fair and reasonable. I can't recommend any service more highly.

Great experience using these folks. Nice people who do what they say, when they say they will do it. Mr. Chavez even called me to tell me he was going to be a couple of minutes late. In a town not always known for good service, Chavez Septic stands out!

I've used a couple drilling companies before and these guys are top notch. Courteous and knowledgeable. Unlike a lot of companies around here they actually showed up when they said they would and completed the job as promised.

They don't communicate very well & don't discuss options. They pretty much do what they want without discussion. They don't warranty their work like normal businesses. Spent Aprox $30k for a new well Water & Wes Mack refused to do a gpm flow rate instead he just wings it with feeling through his hands... their deceptive trade practices is more common than quality work performed. Had an underground water leak the day he left the job & his local employees blamed the leak as run off from the frost free exterior hydrant which was never used. Needless to say Wes Mack's Company did not react to my leak just blaming on other things. They never did a pressure gauge test to confirm the leak. A year later I had to hire a different licensed plumber (Wes Mack didn't utilize a licensed plumber on my job) & dug up the only two underground fixtures & both were leaking. My licensed plumber indicated Mack's guy tightened the nuts too tight causing the fixture to crack & leak. Wes Mack continued to make more excuses rather than simply pay my plumbers repair at $800. Wow what an unprofessional Wes Mack IS as had to get an Atty just to get reimbursed for what Wes Mack's employees did by installing faulty fixtures. Wes Mack is not ethical & does not take care of paying customers. Buyer beware as your better off using anyone else who may care more about the quality of work & their customers because Wes Mack doesn't care about anybody but his bank account.

I had a new well drilled and needed a pump placed and trenching and connection to the house. They were out the next day with all the equipment needed and finished that day. Excellent service and a fair price considering All the equipment involved and manpower present.

I called about the drain for my washing machine overflowing in the bathroom. They scheduled me for 8:30 am the next day. Around 11am I called my husband to ask how it went with the plumbers and he said they never showed. I then see that I have a text telling me to call them. When I called and said I was their 8:30 appointment they abruptly said they were trying to get a hold of me all morning because a hotel had an emergency flood and they couldn't get to me until later. Fine. I asked what time- they didn't know, had to call back. When they called back I finally locked them into a 3pm time. They showed up about 20 minutes early (before I got home) and started working on the outside drain system. My husband informed me of this. About another 20 minutes or so they were all finished. A huge clog that they fixed. Great! $300 plus a credit card charge, I asked for a breakdown of the cost and got thrown a bunch of stuff, $130/hr., travel charge, charge for the cleaner they used.. who really knows. A few hours later I go to do the laundry that has been sitting in the washer, wet, for a couple of days now and after the wash cycle my machine proceeds to overflow all over the floor and shoots sediment up through the sink. The Exact problem I called them for was not fixed at all. I messaged the owner to let him know and ask again what I paid for and he gave me a story about how he cleaned a major clog in the main line and checked the shower and it didn't back up anymore... ummm, because it never did back up. He claimed that I called him for a main line clog not an overflowing washer.

Long story short. Don't bother! They're shady.

The work was done a while ago. I called about a heat zone & manager insisted (against my wishes) on checking out the well pump. Put his ladder down & ""checked"" it out. Two weeks later the well pump stopped. It was burnt out. He came back with two other guys & put in a new pump. The other guys didn't do anything but I was charged for their time - a few thousand $$.
I'm sure this is one of the company's that prey on women.

These guys showed up when they said and did a very good job in a tight situation. i had a leak 2 feet below my concrete slab in a copper pipe - they replaced it after I located it.
I'd use them again.
