Don't believe the commercials!!! The only company I have called that charges $85 to come out for an estimate!!! Mike, the person who came out had alcohol on his breath and looked like he hadn't showered in days. Claudia (office manager?) is unprofessional and argumentative/defensive. My sink was clogged and Mike said I would have replace pipes going to the sewer. $14,000!!! Charged me $250 to put a camera down my drain, but didn't do anything. Didn't provide any pictures. Said they could temporarily get my sink to drain. Spoke with Claudia finally after2-1/2 weeks of leaving messages and asking if """"I was sure I called her""""!!! When I asked when they could send someone out I was told I was lying that Mike would never say he could get my sink to drain temporarily. Long story short. Claudia and Mike called me back a week later when """"he was available""""!!! He said he could drain my sink, but every time I used the sink it would take several days to drain. All of nothing and it would cost me $986!!! I hung up and called Roto Rooter. (Excellent service and extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite). Roto Rooter came the next day. (Would have come the same day but I called late afternoon). Within 4 hours, Roto Rooter had cleared out the drain in the kitchen sink and identified a storage for the drain for the washing machine and said the two drains were connected. All that needed to be done was to connect the kitchen pipe to a drain in the crawl space that was disconnected from the original pipe but not connected to the new pipe. I asked about needing to replacing the pipes that goes to the sewer and he said there wasn't anything wrong and didn't need to be replaced. Cost for snaking 2drains/4-1/2 hours work $629 including a quart bottle of industrial strength drain cleaner to use monthly and will last 8 months. If I thought I would be able to speak with the owner, Larry Jones, I would call him because I am sure he isn't aware that his employees are ripping off customers and his office manager is in on it. So much for """"family values""""!!! Oh, yeah, Mike's reply to my comment about not having an extra $14,000 laying around and how many people do? He said lots of people do in a mocking tone. I hope this will help someone not to experience the aggravation, frustration and disrespect I had.

Our plumbing vent pipe was leaking. We called Universal. They scheduled an appointment for the next convenient business day. The customer service team was wonderful and pleasant. I appreciated their confirmation of the type of service requested. It ensured I was not billed for an inapplicable visit. The plumbing technician was able to repair the plumbing issue on the same day.

We had plumbing problems and called this company. Mainly we heard their commercial. They were quick to respond. Customer service was very polite when we called. They gave us a time frame and called before coming. They also pre-provided the plumbers name who would be servicing our home and just some info about him like what his hobbies were. Great personal touch and we felt like we already knew him. There is a level of comfort there. The plumber quickly diagnosed what he needed to do when we told him what happened. He came in and quickly resolved our problem. A very nice polite young man who enjoyed his craft and is very knowledgeable. Lastly their price is VERY FAIR. Not expensive and that is also a plus. While we hope never to call them again, if we needed to we will call Universal Plumbing. Give them a try!

I want to give a five star shout-out to Brian Dukes at Universal Plumbing. He came out and gave a no-nonsense estimate for the repairs I needed. I thought it was going to be a simple replace the cartridge to my faucet. Brian investigated the situation and presented me with the root cause of my sink and tub faucet leaks - it was the pressure relief valve. He provide me with an estimate and completed the work with detailed precision and professionalism. Thanks Brian!

Disappointed in service provided for the price charged. Faucet still leaked after their attempt to repair & they left water supply off once they finished. I would not recommend this company as I had to repair the faucets myself.
