I requested a quote for a Screen in Patio from Universal Group, Inc., Angel came out and gave me a quote that I was satisfied with. Angel, started and completed the job when he said that it would. I am very pleased with the work his company provided, the men were they were professional and clean, I would recommend Universal Group to my friends and family if they were getting a screen in patio. If I am in the market for other upgrades to my home I would call Universal Group Inc. for a quote, and if their price is within my budget Universal Group, Inc. would more than likely get the job.

My kitchen nightmare continues...... The cheap covering of the cabinets are starting to peel off. The back panel by the faucet lost glue or whatever and coming off. About 2 years ago, I start noticing the flying ants. They come out at night in my kitchen. Then, last year, I found dead termites inside the cabinet. My husband treated with chemicals but they kept coming back. Now my kitchen cabinets are full of termites!! So we had to call a professional to see what we can do about it. The guy who came to look at the cabinets simply said that these cabinets had a termite colony from the beginning! On top of a lousy job they did with a cheap material instead of promised really wood, they built the cabinets with termite in it. I just can't believe this company is still in business. Some people had a good experience. Lucky for them! But even TV stationed did the show on this company since so many people complained. Yes, Angel is the guy who sells but after that, they refuses to pick up the phone. Only answers when you call from the different number. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE !! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I AM NOT IN THIS BUSINESS AND NO NEED TO COMPETE WITH THEM.

Met with Angle """"the owner of the company"""" for a few estimates. He said, let's just start with one estimate for now, as if in some strange way he was assuming that I wouldn't be able to afford it. So if you were to draw a square around my house, I was only asking him to work on three sides. aluminum fence. aprox. 80' X 3 =240 ft. He quoted me $12, 500 for the back yard and $11,800 for the front. Not one price but two different prices, and he started getting aggrivated when I started asking questions about his pricing. It's not that I didn't hear what he said, I just had to ask again because I wanted be sure he said what he said becauseit was gouging and he knew it. he says, look, that's the price, call me if you want to do business, I think he knew he was being rediculous and felt ashamed. Word of advice, """"Mr. Owner"""" you should hire somebody else to do your estimating. Your going to loose a lot of money if you keep this up. Good riddins...... on to the next one :)

This company is rinky dinky. Stay as far away as you can from them. They will say that they will put a patio in for you and will do it without a permit and they will leave you with unfinished projects. They did it to my parents and I was able to step in and halt everything. The Angel guy is not a nice guy and he works with his nephew who is impatient and rude. Please if you can save your money or do yourself a favor, do not go through these people. You will not hear from them after they take your money. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Do your research or you will take a loss. Shade tree contractors are everywhere, thankfully we found a great company to give my parents exactly what they want. Thank God!!! Beware because they might end up changing their company name again because that's how shade tree contractors operate. They take your money, don't do the job, and disappear. They are a terrible company do not risk it PLEASE!!!

Angel, if you are reading this. I would like to say Thank You. Thank You for showing your TRUE colors, on how NASTY and UNPROFESSIONAL of a man you are! You did me and my family a big favor. Congratulation on receiving a 1 star review #16, well deserved you earn it! Please, do not go do business with man. Angel gets very aggravated when you ask question regarding the contract as if you don't suppose ask question regarding the contract. Angel was very rude and nasty when my family and I decided not to go through with the roofing job, base on the bad reviews that I have read from other consumers. Also I found out that his company appeared on a news station a few years ago about a woman who said that she paid a deposit for her roof that never got started. Again, please do not do business with this company. I know there is a lot of contractors that will try to rip you off, it just take some time and patients for someone to do the job and do the job right without giving you problems. Unlike Mr. Angel.

The owner of this company swears his GOD! Please give me a break man! He called me back to give me pricing on a drive and has given me a whole lecture on he does his so called """" integrity job"""". He seems like your typical NOT FINISH THE JOB"""" type of individual. Even started talking crap about Cubans and Venezuelan people. Just so rude and unprofessional! I felt like my dad was calling me instead of an owner the a business. Heads up man; I suggest you hire a receptionist to better handle your calls, you definitely have no manner to deal with customers! This one is completely off of my list. WILL NOT USE NOR REFER.

RUNNNNN Away, Yes run away from this company, I hired this company on 7/14 to remove and install a metal awning roof over my pool area. The removal went exactly as planned, I think it was the only thing that went well. when the installer of this roof installed the new roof it look really nice until the first time it rained that when the roof actually open up and all the water came pouring into the covered area. I called up and they sent the same guy out he removed and reinstalled the same roof only for it to rain and guess what it happened AGAIN! I called Gabriel once again and that's when things got interesting it took almost a year for them to come out and actually fix this piece of crap roof they have installed. Also they have this guy named angel he is the one who goes around writing the contract, this guy is a real goon when he wrote my contract he promised to install 2 additional doors for the same price funny thing was he was trying to get away w/o installing them. Many other shady thing happened which i wont get into because I'll be here all day all I'm say is if you want shoddy work done in your home, go thru a whole mess of trouble and aggravation, be taken for a fool and your money by all means i recommend you hire this company. If you want to save yourself a world of pain RUN AWAY from this crazy company

BUYER BEWARE! !! Do not trust this company!!! A company that has no work history usually means they've either changed their company name ( because of massive law suits ) or they're a fly by night company ( meaning they will take your deposit and dissappear ) Do your homework people! And then go and find a reputable company!

I want to recommend Universal Group, Inc. to anyone seeking service. All work from this company is built on integrity. They are professional and get the job done correctly and on time. After putting up my gate with Universal Group Inc, I had a repair that come up, I call Mr. Angel D. Banos to fix it. The repair was done quickly. I was really impressed. Mr. Angel D. Banos and staff are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Any future work that I need to do on my property, I will call them to do it. I would highly recommend them.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE I strongly suggest steer away from this business. Very unprofessional, very rude and will not work to fix their own mistakes. Started a job, didn't complete and don't care to consult client for refund. Do not start business with this company or you will lose big time. Only one guy doing the job and answering his own calls. Left a senior lady hanging without any assistance after took her down payment. On top of that, never consulted city for work permit and left senior client to do it, even thought it's in the contract Angel would run the job from beginning to end take care of everything.
