I bought many, many appliances there doing a remodel and had several appliances delivered damaged and was left feeling it was my fault somehow and not the manufacturer's or delivery personnel. To this day I have a backsplash from Wolf not properly installed and am told it's my responsibility. A few of their installers are anything but adequate. And the sales people give you short shrift. I wouldn't recommend this place

MD Rayan took great care of us as we were shopping for a new refrigerator. Because of the pandemic, the immediate supply for appliances generally was on back order. Being that we were without a refrigerator for the last 3 weeks, we were desperate to find something in stock. MD spent a great deal of time with us looking at our measurements and locating a Sub Zero that would work perfectly for us. Being that we needed a built-in, and although we had measurements, MD felt it important to send a technician out to our home to do the actual measurements to confirm it would fit. Our new fridge is on its way. Thank you MD. We will certainly use Universal again.

The staff has masks but half were not wearing them when we walked in. They don't work unless you wear them inside! Some would put them on when we approached and others didn't. One man was working near the Thermadors without a mask on and if you walked by, he'd put it up - again, that's not how it works indoors. I didn't feel comfortable shopping here, although one employee, Shawnie, did keep her mask on and was very helpful. We had a completely different sanitary experience with Ferguson. They were following protocol to a T and it was much more comfortable.

Had to buy a new built in fridge - unplanned and most inconvenient right now - and Oscar helped me enormously. He made sure I got the amenities I needed, and made sure the size/make/model would fit in our existing space without any carpentry work. Most of all, he gave me the best price I could find anywhere. The delivery was top notch.

He was consistently patient & responsive to our questions and helped us design the kitchen of our dreams! The installation of our appliances went smoothly, without a hitch. The installers were professional, arrived in clearly marked trucks & wore branded uniforms. Sales Associate MD has followed up with us several times after the installation to make sure that all of our appliances were performing as expected. If you value good customer service, I recommend Universal Appliance for both competitive pricing and excellent customer service. Ask for MD!

Called to get some help on a refrigerator for our new home. Guy that answered the phone could be LESS helpful or bother to care. I have money to spend and he seemed bothered by me asking any questions. Maybe in-person, they might care a bit more. But wouldn't recommend giving them a call - waste of time.

If you think you are buying from a high end store with great customer service think twice. Bought 25k worth of appliances and got ignored when we needed help. Coffee machine doesn't work and to this date we are being ignored. Ice maker produces no ice...and they keep saying we will send someone to look at it....no one even calls back. Shame on you Darren. You suck!!!

His knowledge of the products & experience with the process was amazing. The install crew led by Dan was awesome too! Thanks to the Universal team for such a great experience & great appliances!
