I highly recommend Victor of United V I Plumbing.
Very professional, respectful, knowledgeable; he listens and carefully assesses the job. Best of all his quote was reasonable and he showed up as promised within a week.
His advise was sound and did not try to add unnecessary extras. He was thorough and found a potentially big problem for me- my clothes dryer vent duct was unattached - blowing lint out from a clogged duct - a fire hazard in my narrow crawl space. So he fixed that too on the spot.

I cannot say enough good things about VIP - efficient, neat work, and reasonable. My stress of switching to tankless water heater ( Navien NPE-240A) was quickly gone when I turned in the water and hot water came quickly. I'm looking forward to my lower PGE bill next month!

BTW, Ongaro & Sons Plumbing quote took several weeks and was 3.5 times ore expensive with padded upgrades.

I can't recommend Victor and United Plumbing. On the plus side, he was available on short notice, seemed competent, and got the job done.
But I was unhappy with two aspects. First, he got testy when I didn't understand one of his explanations of what needed to be done and asked for clarification. Second, the work we ended up having done was just removal of a shower valve, and capping off the water lines. It took about an hour, and he charged $289. That seemed excessive for such a short job, even with two men involved.

Victor was super responsive and got the job done. He was able to service our clogged pipe the very next day. It was a significant clog deep in the pipes and he cleaned it out. He also cleaned up everything after the job and left it looking better than when he started. Honest, dependable and efficient.

He has installed a new kitchen faucet, replaced water lines , installed a new hot water heater and adjusted the water pressure in several faucets that were only trickling. I said how did you come up with that amount?

Technician said ""I m giving you a package deal""

That price includes the price of the valves and the cost of our visit ""

Huh! So that means your Labor price is about $250.00 for the initial visit?

And he proceeded to tell me what a good deal that was.

After asking him to leave, I had another plumber do the job the next day for less than half of the United V. I plumbing.
