ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Don't use these people. The only thing worse than their work is their customer service. The only reason I used them is because they are contracted through my home warranty company. They came out initially last Friday because we had been having issues with flickering lights and then our AC and dryer wouldn't work. When they came out I showed the tech the issue as pointed out by the power company, a burnt out lug (or something like that) in the meter. He looked inside and out and then told me he was not comfortable turning on my power and that he couldn't fix the issue that day. We were going to be out of town for the weekend already so I wasn't too concerned. They scheduled us for the """"first appointment"""" on Monday and I later called the office to get clarification of just what time they would be there and was told 8am. I took the day off work and I rushed home (we stayed at a relatives since we didn't have electricity) to be there for the 8am appointment. At about 8:40, after no one showed and no one from the company called I called the office and a not so friendly woman told me the tech was on his way and should be at my house within 20 mins (so 9am, not 8 as I had been told). The same tech came out and spent the first hour getting the low down on another techs weekend before he got started. Finally at 3pm, they finished wiring from the main line to the panel and we flipped the switch and the house came to life, all except the dryer. He left and everything seemed fine until later last night when the lights started to flicker when the AC went on. Thinking it was just an issue with the AC, we shut it off. But the flickering continued and then our house went dark. We checked the panel and to my surprise nothing was tripped, which concerned me. How in the world did our lights and electricity stop and yet it looks like everything is fine. It was then I started to get concerned about safety, especially when my bedside lamp flickered on and off, even though it was switched off. I noticed some things were still on and working, our fridge and an outlet charging my cell phone. I called USHAC and their answering service told me they would relay the message and someone would call me right back. 30 minutes later, we still had yet to get a call back. I again called the answering service and about 15 mins later I received a call back. The woman didn't seem to know what she was doing though. She kept asking me to repeat my experience and it sounded like she was writing it word for word. She said she would have a tech out to us, but that he was located in Winter Springs, so it would take 30 mins for him to get to us. Over an hour later someone arrived and proceeded to talk on his cell phone for another 30 mins in my front yard before coming in (still on the phone and telling someone in Spanish that he was at work). Super unprofessional and rude. He looked at the work that had been done thoroughly and said he could not get our electricity back on because they hadn't replaced the part in the meter I originally pointed out. He said someone would be out first thing in the morning to replace it, but again, no one came by or called. I finally called them and the dispatcher said she didn't have any knowledge of the issue and would call me back. 30 mins later she still had not called me back, so I called her. They dispatched someone with the part we needed and finally 5 days after I reported the issue it was fixed. I am not sure how companies with bad customer service and who don't fix issues the first time stay in business. Do yourself a favor and use another company.

They came into my apartment complex to replace the plumbing as part of a complex wide renovation project. They were in my apartment for several days and until the second to last there was no issue. On the second to last they needed to access the attic space through my closet. They destroyed my closet. Clothes on the floor, drywall and fiberglass insulation all over everything, and a collectable I was storing in there since it was so large damaged. Even the structure of the building was damaged, the frame around the panel to enter the attic space is cracked in multiple places. I can provide pictures of all of this. They have utterly refused to take responsibility for any of the damages. I was called a liar, told I caused the damage, and hung up on when I attempted to contact them. When my apartment complex attempted to deal with them they were told the only way I was getting compensation was if I took them to court. They refuse to provide their insurance information, something I have every right to request and was advised by my insurance to seek. I'm currently looking into my legal options and will be contacting lawyers as I try to assess if it's even worth the fees associated with suing them to take them to court, but the utter professionalism and disregard for myself and my property is staggering. Do not trust them with your home, they may destroy it and then call you a liar when you try to make them take responsibility.

Terrible service, worse customer service. I've had the misfortune of dealing with this company three times. I have a home warranty, and that company lists USH&A as one of their service providers. The first time they came out to look at my leaking water heater, the service technician told me that the city (Oviedo) was sending too much pressure to the house, this triggered the pressure release valve, so the water had to be turned off. I called the city, and they sent a rep out within 10-15 minutes. The service technician for USH&A got in his truck, drove about three houses down from mine, and pulled over to the curb and parked. He refused to speak with the City's rep (would not get out of his truck!!!) who said it was impossible that the city was sending too much pressure and only my house was affected (if the city was sending too much pressure -most, if not all houses would be affected). He ended up driving off, and I was left with a leaking water heater. I had to turn off the water to the house, all this while having both bathrooms re-tiled. Horrible inconvenience. They sent a second rep out a day or two later who diagnosed a completely different problem and ended up rebuilding the pipes that lead from the heater to the house. I have just called the warranty company about another issue - one of the heating elements seems to be out - and have unfortunately been forwarded to USH&A. Their answering service incorrectly told me they had Saturday appointments - which they do not - so I scheduled for Tuesday between 10am - 1pm. Less than 24 hours before this appointment, they call and leave a message that they have rescheduled for 2pm - 5pm (or thereabouts). I have totally rescheduled my workday around the original appointment - I know things happen and sometimes cannot be avoided, but when I called to ask for the original appointment time back due to the fact it does not fit in with the schedule that I totally re-worked to meet the original appointment, the supervisor told me """"What do you want me to do about it?'. If this is the type of service and customer service you expect, please do call USH&A!

Do not use this company. My toilet was leaking and they came and did a total toilet rebuild on 12/5/13. 65 days later the leaking resumed and they did a second toilet rebuild (2/10/14). Then I complained about them to the BBB and they responded with a series of stories that did not take place. Immaturity...I am not sure what else to call it. Instead of owning up to their incompetence, they decided to weave a series of stories. Dare I say lie? I have complained about poor service in the past with another company before. They owned up to it, apologized, and reimbursed me. U.S. Heating and Air Conditioning is the first company I have ever heard responding the way it did. Trust me...Do not use this company.

AWFUL!!!! They were not our choice. Forced on us by our home warranty co. Had them out 2 years ago, in the heat of summer of course, supposedly repaired the AC and by that evening it was not working. Called them and we can't do anything until tomorrow. No regard at all for their customers. Our fan motor was making noises but still cooling last week. They came out on Friday said it was fan motor would get parts and repair. My husband took off work to meet them this am, was supposedly repaired but when we got home this evening was 87 in our home. Calle them, oh sorry have to go through Warranty Co again. I said its your, fault it's not working, it was cooling before. You broke it you inept repairman should fix it, TODAY. Nope sorry have to go thought Warranty co. I would never ever use them again or recommend them.

My apartment building called USHAC to fix a major back up in my plumbing. They sent a plumber out that day. He removed my toilets and told me that a high pressure hose needed to be used, and then left. About 3 hours later, another plumber from the same company came, and noticed that my toilets had been removed and said, """"I can't use the high pressure hose until the toilets are put back on,or we will have a mess"""". He then went outside and used the high pressure hose anyway. Less than 1 minute later, I had 2 inches of urine, water, and fecal matter throughout my apartment. They sent someone out to """"clean"""" up the mess 4 hours later. But the damage had been done. At least $3,000.00 worth of damage had been done to my property alone (not including carpet, walls, and flooring). I was displaced with 3 children and a dog for 3 days. And they thought $500 should be enough payment for what they put me through. Even after all of this, the plumbing problem was not fixed for another week,

Hi, Very Disappointed, My experience with this company was not good at all, first there are no operators to answer the calls, all the calls go to same tech that come to your place. Second he told me it is going to cost me $850.00 to fix my fan that was not blowing for our heater, which to me sound like a lot, then after negotiating I got him down to $650.00 ??? He said, he is going to buy the parts and will be back in an hour, did not show up for three hours and when i asked him why, said had to go long distant to buy the parts??? After he showed up and start working at the unit he came up with a new cost for something else, so he added $100.00 more to the cost. After a week or so we realized that every time the heater goes on the AC also start with it and we get kind of clod air at first and then heat goes on, so I contacted him and after ten days he showed up, and blame the age of the unit to this malfunction , I was very upset that he never mention it when he was fixing it , and now my AC is also not working because all the Freon gas is gone. So his solution was to get a new AC and heating system for $4500.00 in top of what I already paid him which would bring the total to $5250.00 and if he would not come up with another extra charge out of his sleeves. I give him and US Air/Heating """"ONE STAR"""" and that's only because he was very punctual at our first appointment..

This is a letter of praise for USHAC. I live in a house that was built in 1972. The plumbing was installed according to the code that was in effect back then. The kitchen drain is a bit troublesome to clear and needs to be snaked to the septic tank, which is about 70 feet of pipe. My kitchen drain was clogged and although it took some extraordinary effort to clear it, USHAC did a great job. I recommend USHAC100%. They were punctual, accommodating, diligent and courteous throughout their efforts to take care of my plumbing issues. They also did a great job with a shower faucet replacement, commode seal, flusher replacement and waste disposal installation. Thank you very much for all your good work. Joe form Hillsborough.

My AC stopped working and I called my Home Warranty company Old Republic. They sent the service order to US Heating AC and Refrigeration. While the actual technician who provided the initial evaluation and installation of the part was polite, the people at customer service were rude, ignorant and impossible to work with. The response time was always slow. I was told I would get a service call on Monday, but then some extremely offensive woman with an attitude called me back and said it was TOO HOT for the technician and he would not come till the following morning. When I protested she HUNG UP ON ME! They showed no compassion for the fact that I had no AC in a house with 3 small children. There was no use of common sense to ask me if I wanted to pay a little extra to have the part rush ordered and when I questioned this bad judgement I was screamed at by a disgusting person who claimed to be the manager & said he did not care at all about how miserable and hot we were. He then HUNG UP ON ME TOO! Because the part was under warranty I had no choice but to use this cowboy company. It was only because the home warranty company who had selected this company got involved that I had AC back by late Friday- they were ok waiting till Monday- essentially leaving us for an entire week with a 95 degree house! I would NEVER use them again and I suggest everyone else stay well clear of them. In this economy it is very sad that really bad customer service is still tolerated and this company stays in business. I am going to do my best to get them struck off the list of vendors with the home warranty company for the way they treated me.

I have used them 3 times now. For plumbing and electrical. They are a bit expensive. 2 capacitors on the compressor for $128! With labor it came out to $218 for 30 minutes of work. I learned my lesson on that one, but at the time didn't feel like dealing with it. The one a/c problem I had before, the condensate line was plugged (I never thought to look at that ) and he was in and out in under 20 minutes. They do exactly what they need to quickly and properly. They are friendly and explain what is wrong. So I've always learned something.
