Anne W.Remington was awesome! He was very honest and repaired an issue a competitor told me had to be completely replaced at double the cost. The communication was excellent and the repair was completed in a timely manner. This is our new ""GO TO"" plumbing company. Very happy from start to finish!
They sent Richard out to fix an issue with a clogged main line and he did an absolutely great job! He was able to come out the same day, which was amazingly helpful and got everything flowing again much quicker than I expected. I appreciate everything y'all do, and I will definitely recommend you guys to anyone that asks. This man deserves a raise for sure! And I hope you all have a great holiday season!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They only want to take your money, they are NOT about customer service or SATISFACTION.
I stated to Alex when giving my quote I wanted the buried line repaired with the same type of pipe and if they did not think they could repair it the way I wanted it done then skip it. I walked him around the house and stated I wanted the plumbing under the house to be located close to the foundation and away from the crawl space opening to prevent freezing with all pipes insulated. Also informed of a remodel happening in coming weeks with the bathtub (he wanted to give a quote for that) and where I wanted the new lines to go. Alex said all the things I wanted was not a problem and could be done. He came back with the numbers (not a copy I could have) of the bid and I asked if that included my specific things which he said yes to.
When the workers came to install I stood with all three workers in the bathroom explaining where I wanted the lines installed close to the foundation and for the new bathtub project, also went over the location of the other lines under the house of where I wanted them, they all said no problem. I also brought up before they started about not wanting the buried line cut and if they did not think they could repair it with the same pipe to skip over it.
I let them do their thing, asking if they needed anything or had any questions 2 times and they said everything was going fine. I had to run to get a sick kid from school towards the end of the day but they said they had about an hour left so I had time to leave. I showed up 20 minutes later and all of their things were packed up and crawl space covers back on house and waiting on me in driveway. I did not check their work and paid them got the invoice which is the first form of documentation I had received. As I was putting things back I noticed they failed to insulate the pipes inside as I requested, they also made pipes cross over each other at the water heater that had 11 connections in each pipe. I looked at the buried line and they cut the line I specifically asked them to not cut, put in a splice, left out a shut off valve and left the hydrant leaning.
I contacted the office the next day and said I was extremely unsatisfied with what was done. A project manager named Brock came out to address my concerns and treated me like an idiot. Showing him the buried line I stated that is not what I asked for, I specifically told Alex and the crew I did not want the line cut. ""Well that's how that is repaired, what you wanted does not matter, that is the proper repair"" is what Brock told me. I showed him the poor craftsmanship behind the water heater and told him it looked like a 2 year old was playing the game Pick Up Sticks crossing lines over each other. Brock then insulted me, ""A 2 year old could not squeeze these clamps together, I am a master plumber and this looks fine to me and it is working."" At this point I had been insulted enough in my own home and told Brock to leave since he was clearly dismissing my concerns and demeaning me. He did call back and say he would like to let the guys come insulate the pipes in the home as is on the bid and repair behind the water heater as it did look unprofessional with poor craftsmanship.
I was able to look under the house at what had been done a few days later to find nothing was done as I requested, even part of one of the lines is on the ground not insulated. They did not run the lines close to the foundation instead ran it down the path of the crawl space openings where I specifically told everyone I did not want them nor did they move the lines for the bathtub remodel as I told all 3 of them before they started work. I called to schedule the appointment for them to insulate the lines inside and redo the mess behind water heater and took pictures to show of how they did not put the lines under the house where I asked them to go.
Nick showed up to do the repairs and was able to turn the 11 connections in each pipe down to 1 connection in each pipe, but left off a clamps holding a pipe up and I have reinstalled 4 clamps that have fallen out of the wall since they left. I asked about the work under the house and Nick said that Mike the owner said no. Nick then said, ""He (Mike) said it sounds like you are just wanting a rework because you did not get what you wanted the first time even though everything works as it should and there is nothing wrong with what you have."" I called the office and still waiting on a call back from Mike on why he is not willing to meet his 100% customer satisfaction goal. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and waiting on a reply from the business. They ignore your requests, will only do what is quickest and can make them the most money, not what the customer wants then ignore the customer.
Blake just finished pulling, repairing and reinstalling two of our toilets in record time! Not only is he knowledgeable and efficient, but also explained everything he was going to do, and gave us an estimate up front. Who does that anymore? First class all the way from the receptionist to finished execution! Fantastic!
Completely wowed by the timing, professionalism, and workmanship. They will forever be my ""go to"". They replaced 140 feet of clay pipes of a vintage house, in the rain, in 3 business days. Wes, the project manager, was on site ensuring all details were checked. Amazing company and people.
Called today, A very nice young man came out and gave me a great estimate and completed the job on the spot. Outstanding customer service to these folks. They will be my first call if ever need a plumber again. Thanks United.
I am sick of these abusive or incompetent a@@holes and I will never HIRE anybody ever again. You cannot go to a restaurant without coming across a psycho server (2017), or ordering stuff on amazon/walmart (2020-2024) with out the drivers or ware house workers ripping you off or stealing your packages, thus never getting your s**t. United was not incompetent but would I EVER hire them again, NO. They won't say the full name of the workers because they are all psychos and they know it. I just called a plumber and GOT The full name of my worker. They were not trying to hide anything. Yes I was overcharged tho. Don't trust ANYBODY. Or at least call only a handyman. Not a MAIN company. But am I abusive TOO, you bet I am if am screwed with.
We are living in an era of O Ps, and only YOU enlightened ONES know what I am talking about. Enough said.
Mark R.came out the same day - that was hard to believe. Hector arrived in a very professional vehicle after giving me an eta over the phone; and then he was actually here when he said. He did the job very quickly and politely. He even cleaned up after his work. Hector did his company and his customer both a solid today. thanks, man
Great same day service! Technician Dalton was professional and helpful and did the work I needed for half the cost that another service had quoted me. I will continue to use United Plumbing in the future.
I can only begin to tell you how great this company, their employees and the service was for my Wife and Me. I met their service technician Daniel on a Friday for an inspection on a leak in the water main of the house we had just purchased and also asked him for an estimate for plumbing a new gas line for our clothes dryer. We subsequently set a date for the following Wednesday and he did all the service work with new, high quality shut-off valves and everything else needed to complete the job. Then two days later the water heater failed, which was not totally unexpected as the house was new to us. We called United Plumbing back and Daniel was able to return, giving us (3) options on what we could do with a difficult installation circumstance. We made a decisive decision and Daniel was able to get a new RUUD gas water heater and install it the same day! His professional attitude and work ethic in each case was a pleasure to witness. I readily recommend United Plumbing to everyone who needs service work or updates to their water and natural gas systems!
