Recommended Customer Reviews

Definitely a rip-off business. His workers claimed they couldn't find a valve for the main water shut-off after looking for one for 3 hours @ $150.00 per
hour. Asked Richard if I could make two payments 2 weeks apart and he had a sissy fit. NEVER do business with this clowns.....

Called to schedule an appointment for air conditioning. The agent I spoke with took my number and said someone would be in touch in an hour, it's been over a week since I initially called. Bad customer service and no follow up call speaks volumes.

I called for a quote at 9:04 am. I spoke to the owner, Richard, who gave me a quote for $8,500 for re-piping. I explained that the house was in the purchase process and would not be available to work till mid January. After talking to my husband, I called Richard back at 3:02 pm and asked for a written quote in order to proceed with the work. I reminded him of the earlier conversation and suddenly the price was $10,500. He said I lost out on the discount cause it was only valid if I have the work done this week. I'm fairly certain he would have found a way to claim the extra $2K regardless of when the work was done. He kept saying ""I have to feed my family."" Don't we all? Proceed with caution!!!
As a business law student, this is the type of company we do case studies about.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!.
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLUMBING COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH.
DO NOT USE THEM. DO NOT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF LIKE THEY DID TO ME.
The plumbers they sent were completely clueless.
The lead plumber, upon arrival asked DO YOU HAVE A PRV? I informed him that I do not know what that is (I am not a plumber). His response was THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.
I called them to install a water flow unit in my toilet tank.
Once installed I was informed that now the water line to the toilet tank was leaking and needed to be replaced. The plumber told me to shut off the main water line for the whole house, which I did. With the new water line to the toilet tank installed the plumber told me to reopen the main water line for the whole house. Once reopened
now we have: NO WATER FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE!!
Additional plumbers showed up at the house to assess the problem. The lead plumber (WHO IS CARRYING A GUN UNDER HIS SHIRT) said that the VALVE for the main water line for the whole house was bad and needed to be replaced. They replaced the VALVE and still: NO WATER FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE!!!
The lead plumber stated that their must be ice stuck in the water line from the water meter to the house. I told him that can't be because I had water in the house at 11am this morning PLUS, it's 56 degrees out and was 38 degrees last night. The lead plumber used an air compressor to blow out the line. When that didn't work the lead plumber provided water and asked that I boil it on the stove with me telling him again that it can not be ice in the line. After pouring hot water down the line still: NO WATER FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE.
After this FIASCO the owner of the company came to my house and advised me that ""I WILL HAVE MY DIGGERS HERE IN THE MORNING AND I WILL HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR THAT.""
With that the plumbers left and NO WATER FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE overnight.
The next day the diggers arrived and found the problem...
the PRV (remember that question) valve failed and they removed it an now I have water to the house thanks to the diggers.
It should be noted that the lead plumber had a GUN UNDER HIS SHIRT which I saw numerous times while he was working.
I have a license to carry a gun. That said: I have rules I put in effect for myself. I never go into anyone's home or get into anyone's car without them knowing that I am carrying. They have the right to know who has what in their personal space. I find it totally disrespectful to not give them that information. What if there are kids in the house???
I knew I was being over charged on the bill. When I told the owner that fact, he immediately dropped the bill by hundreds of dollars! That's the oldest trick in the book that many used car salespeople use.
I told the owner that I agreed to a bill for a certain dollar amount via the phone. However, your written bill shows my quoted dollar amount PLUS TAX but a Tax dollar amount is not displayed on the handwritten bill.
The owner said: NO TAX!
I advised the owner via a text message: Starting July 1, 2019 both in-state and out-of-state companies doing business in New Mexico became subject to a new State Tax law initiated by House Bill 6, signed into law on April 4th.
THE NEW LAW REQUIRES TAX TO BE DISCLOSED ON NEW MEXICO SALES RECEIPT.
I never heard from the owner again.
It should be noted that one of their phone numbers listed on their company letterhead is a ""NOT IN SERVICE"" phone number and the other listed phone number has a full mail box each time I called.
OVERALL, THEIR COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM WAS AN EXTREME LETDOWN.

Diego and Isaac (Father and son team) did a great job with my faucets. They let me know what parts I needed to get, showed up on time, and finished the work in a timely manner. They also cleaned the area they were working in after they were finished.

Very disappointed, Good luck to anyone trying to use this company, apparently they are NOT interested in customer service in these difficult times.

In my town SAL TORTORICI PLUMBING & HEATING have been highly recommend now by 2 friends after hearing my nightmare.

The technicians at this business were nice and courteous but Richard the owner of the company was very unprofessional. I had a major re-plum needed at my house and the job was awarded to this business, I needed the work done fast but still got a few quotes. These guys came in with the most reasonable price. After the plumbing was done we noticed that there was a leak under the bathroom sink. He had a drywall contractor who was not there doing the plumbing try and tighten the line. Three weeks after this job was complete we noticed that the hot water was not working that well and some of the flooring near the water heater was wet (which damaged my floor). We opened the area where the water heater was and noticed that the supply from the water line was not tightened all the way and had been leaking for a few weeks. After realizing this I called Richard and left him messages to call me as soon as possible. I didn't get a call back till the following day. A tech called and asked me what the problem was and I told him what the issue was. I asked him to please resolve the problem because the water heater would not stay on due to the fact there was no oxygen getting to the burner. The tech said he would be fine fixing the issue but needed to get a hold of the owner to get parts. Well to no avail the owner did not answer his phone and the part was not purchased. Later that evening I got a call from the owner and told him what the problem was and he came back at me with this wasn't his problem and he would not do anything about it. He also told me a few other things but I will leave that out of this post. Bottom line is I wouldn't recommend these company to do anything for anyone especially when they can't even warranty a job they just completed.

Our neighbor this week had a leak from the main water line (fortunately it was outside). We suggested Valdez Brothers Plumbing and Heating because we have heard nothing but good things about them and they just recently replumbed two of our friends houses and did a awesome job. Since our neighbors and us have the meters located in the same spot at the street we thought we would get ours done too. We already had our inside of the house repiped (because of the awful polybutylene). I called them Wednesday morning, they were digging and cutting an area on the driveway, by noon, had the whole main pipe from the street to the house installed and were out of here by 6:00 on our house and our neighbors. Then today at noon they came finished the drywall and textured and were finished by 3:00 on both houses (plus they clean up after themselves). Don't have to worry about covering things with plastic because it makes dust when they cut the drywall, they do it for you and cover the floors where they track in. They are the best and all of their workers are professional and courteous. Two of the plumbers are father and son (awesome) and the dry wall man, Rene Anaya brought his young son to help him today because he was on spring break. What a team. Mr. Anaya is the best!! If you need plumbing you must call Valdez Brothers you won't be sorry.
