They showed up very late due to a previous job. They looked at the Circuit breaker that we thought was bad and diagnosed it as the problem. They wrote up an estimate to replace the Breaker.
Their estimate was $375 for the Circuit Breaker plus $200 to replace it.
I was able to purchase a Breaker for $129 on line. The cost for a local reputable electrician to replace it was $120 (his min service call price).
It turns out that the Circuit Breaker was not the cause of the problem after all.

This company employs talented technicians and I have used them often over the past few years. Although they do great work, I am finding that the company can charge 2 - 3 times the going rate for the job.
I can recommend the technicians but will no longer use this company after finding out how much I was overcharged for an electric panel and finding that the new panel should have been done with solar ready adaptation. I was offered this as an additional cost not as a standard.
Sadly have discovered that I was charged somewhere between $1500-2000 too much. Live and learn...

I wanted to have 2 ceiling fans hardwired and installed. checked around and most just gave a quote over the phone. called united, and made appointment. Ryan came out and explained thoroughly everything that would be done. He also took the time to explain exactly what would be best size, type, and more to make informed decision on fan choice, Ryan explained everything simply and made my job easier! He did a fantastic job, and now house is much cooler!

OKay so this has taken a while of me to write this review...BUT be assured we have been enjoying the benefits of HIRING UNITED PLUMBING HEATING and AIR. Bear with the details of my project so you can truly understand how thankful I am with the service I received.
My mother left town for 14 days, at which time I undertook the task of adding AC to her 3 bedroom 2 bath house!!! The existing duct work was original to the house and was rotten and smelly!! the old HEATER was so big, I don't even think we decided to move it out from under the house. Long story short-- NOT only did the new heater, ducting and new vents around the house go in, but we also switched out some outlets, installed a new sink, faucet and disposal BUT they helped finished the job even after I had to head back to Northern California. Amazing help Im telling you!! and the heater works great!

I am very pleased with this company. They had someone come out within two hours of me calling. The technician named Corey spent his time evaluating my furnace and trying different possible solutions. Finally it was decided I needed a new furnace. The company worked with my schedule for the installation. The two gentlemen that came out Jerry and Joe. Were quick, friendly, and very professional.

There are many HVAC companies in this area and I've tried a few, but I will only use United from now on. We first used them for a kitchen plumbing issue, then for another, unrelated plumbing issue, and this weekend for an HVAC issue that we've been having for about two years. I called them on Friday morning, they had a guy here at 11AM that day to figure out what was wrong, and they had a new evaporator and condenser delivered and installed the very next day while my wife and I were working.

I felt confident we were only paying for what we needed after Brad showed me the pics of how badly the evaporator was leaking, which also explained the rusty water that had been leaking from the second story.

The total installed price was already lower than I was prepared to pay and then their manager Rob offered me a military discount!

The new system is SO GREAT. We had forgotten what good A/C felt like over the last few years as we had grown accustomed to the impaired performance of our ten-year-old system.

And the new system came with a 10-year warranty. I have nothing but praise for Rob, Brad and their entire crew for the quality of their service and equipment, and the outstanding value for the money I've spent.

As we say in the USN, ""Bravo Zulu"" (job well done).

Scheduled an appointment in a 2 hour time slot. They called after the time they were supposed to arrive and rescheduled for the next day from 11a-1p. I called to get a status update at 11:45, they said they would call me back and didnt. I called again at 12:45 and they still didnt have an answer for me. Finally got a call back at 1:05, after the time they had set, and they told me they would be on their way in 40 minutes. Had to reschedule work around this company twice, and they still didnt have the courtesy to call, or try to be on time.

I would not use this company. Their Customer Service was great and they called and eMailed which is expected but their Tech was a jerk. The job was a simple repair of an electrical outlet short that turned into ""this could take 30 minutes or it could take all day"". I am not an electrician so when he gave me the news of $420 for pay if fixed or don't pay if not fixed I took the bait. The Tech was here for 90 minutes and when he was done the lights that were on a timer with the yard lights were rewired directly to the power source and on permanently. When I complained the Tech said I did not tell him the lights were part of a system and on a global timer which was the first thing I told him when he arrived. So after some attitude and bantering, he spent a few more minutes doing what I asked him to do then I woefully paid the rapacious $420 fee and gave him two bottles of water and sent him on his way. Afterwards. I thought I will not only never use this company again but tell others not to use this company to save them the grief and money!
