This is a follow up review for how much of a TOTAL JOKE this company is. One of my most worst encounters EVER on Yelp, so please use this company only sparingly is my opinion.

Please call E Appliance Repair at 855-900-0094. This is a REAL company. The last time they were out, they fixed the problem in 10 minutes and charged me $25 and left. We scheduled an appointment one week from now and decided to wait for an adult and not deal with child like companies like this one.

After the manager called and I obliged and waited another 24 hours to wait and see ""the system reset"", I was to call back and report back and if the situation was not fixed he would send someone out to repair the system again. So? 24 hours later a consumer with NO technical HVAC experience knows MORE than their technician calls it right and the system does not work.

I just called them back and reported the issue thinking as to our agreement they would send out another tech to fix this problem. Now, them realizing I had written a not great yelp review, they choose NOT to repair the situation and yes, offers to refund me the money and not fix the situation. They are NOT sending out a tech to fix the problem they couldn't even diagnose, where a home owner told them it wasn't it going to work. So instead of getting a glowing review back, for fixing a problem, they back out like cowards. Yes, I will give them 1 star for paying me back, but believe me, the whole community of La Canada should NEVER use this company because 1) They can't diagnose a problem better than a homeowner with NO experience and 2) when they run up against a problem, they cut and run and not face the music. YES, they refunded me the money but what a waste of time.

At the time of our first call, I yelp reviewed them so they knew I was serious. It was the older review you see before. It was not brutal but it was the truth. I wanted them to know I wasn't pulling any punches. This is what they finally read and decided not to do business with me which is just fine. They did refund me so don't worry about losing your money. I just want a company that will face the music and this company does not. Look at their reviews Yelpers! It's all 5 and 1 stars, this is hint to be cautious! It's a waste of my time. No biggy, we are waiting for the big guys, E Appliance Repair, see my review of them from long before!!!! They're GREAT!!

Thank you Mike and Mark for replacing all my breakers, installing outlets, 3 way switches, and a GFI. They explained in detail the work they would be doing and made sure everything worked before they left. They cleaned up there work mess and answered all my questions. I would definitely use them for my next electrical endeavor!!

Thank you to technician Artin for coming within an hour and not even charging me since it was just the circuit breaker that needs to be reset. They are very professional and fast.

This is for the service call out of the Mission Viejo Area. I realize this is a big company and some people may have a good experienced based on the location and employees. But watch your money people. GET A SECOND OPINION!

I had a terrible experience! My husband called this place via google search. We had an emergency because our outlet was smoking.

Two men showed up and within 5 minutes said we needed a new panel and circuit breakers and rewire....$4000. So we asked them if they could just cap off the outlet so it was unusable for now because we did not have $4000 to spend (plus we wanted a second opinion). They said they could not cut off the outlet and anyway it would not fix the problem.

Our discussion turned into a heated one because it seemed as though they did not want to leave without us paying that $4000. One of the men even threatened us by saying "" If I don't fix this today, your outlet may catch on fire while you are sleeping""..... um, we will take our chances!

Needless to say we got a second opinion and ended up paying $145 to fix our outlet and infact did not need a new panel. We saved our $4000 from these con-artists.

I called United on Thursday about some remedial electrical issues at our home, and got an appointment time between 9-11 on Friday. I received a call at 8:30 Friday morning and was told that a Tecnician would be on-sitee between 9:00 and 10:00.

At 9:30 Eric D arrived... professional appearance, courteous and friendly. We explained our issues, he quickly determined the work to be done and had a quote within 15 minutes of his arrival. By noon Eric had completed all of his work and explained in detail exactly what he did, how he did it and why it was necessary.

I don't write referrals, but I am making an exception for Eric & United. I would rehire him in an instant for any future requirements, and will happily promote his skill to my neighbors & friends. THANK YOU ERIC for an outstanding effort!

SPECTACULAR service !!!!.
My new wife has had problems with her recessed lighting for over 2 years. Her ex had installed numerous electrical fixtures and they had shorted out. THANK GOD for Art at United Electrical !!! I just wanted to do a nice thing and have the ""mood lighting"" fixed. Art came in and found NUMEROUS fire hazards both in the bedroom AND in the electrical box !! There were SO MANY burnt wires and code violations that there were too many to count !! (I stopped at 18 !!!) He took into consideration how much I was going to pay up front, told me what I did and DIDNT need, gave me a VERY fair price, and finished the job WAY ahead of schedule !! He left a few minutes ago and EVERYTHING is working like it should !! Thank you Art !!! HIGHLY recommend !!

Artin was very polite, punctual, honest and helpful. I asked a lot of questions and he was very patient with me. Very skilled and took care of all the small items I needed repaired. Called when he said he would, came early, worked fast and cleaned up afterwards too. Great job, I recommend them. Artin even called back after finishing to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

My first Yelp! review is for a great company that deserves every word of the praise I'm about to give it. Years ago, my family purchased a house in Arcadia with two large lantern posts in the backyard. We were told by the neighbors that the lights were installed in 1953 by the former owner of the house, an Edison electrician. After lighting up our backyard for decades, both of the lamps recently stopped working.

In the past week, we've had the lantern posts and their wiring examined by three electricians, all of whom speculated with inconfidence and quoted us outrageous estimates just for troubleshooting. One electrician gave us several preposterous ""reasons"" as to why we absolutely must upgrade our entire electrical system--only to discover that his voltage tester was actually out of battery--and one even told us he'd need to unearth our entire underground system of electrical wires to even diagnose the problem and give us a reasonable quote!

Fed up with the incompetence of ""phone book"" electricians (*still* my mom's go-to resource for services), I turned to a more reliable source for referrals--Yelp! United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric came up my first local search and, after reading the consistently positive reviews, I decided to give this place a call and am so glad I did!

Cory arrived on time, about an hour after I made the call. He introduced himself to my mom and patiently listened as she tried to explain our problem with her adorable Chinglish. When she was done, he explained that he would examine the electrical circuits and panels before giving us a quote. After his inspection, he quoted us a most reasonable price--$180 for the job, and *only* if he managed to get our lights shining again. We were taken aback by the quote since it was much lower than what the other electricians charged, but we didn't expect him to so easily detect and resolve the problem like he did! Within an hour, our lantern posts were beaming again! My mom was so pleased that she even asked Cory to troubleshoot our broken submerged pool lights and outdoor outlets, and soon, those, too, were operating again. He only charged us only an additional $80, inclusive of replacement parts!

All in all, today was a great day for me and my mom. Thanks to Cory, our new tenants will be able to enjoy the beauty of our garden and pool at dusk, illumined by the soft glow of our lantern posts. My family is definitely lucky to have found an honest and reliable service we can trust. Do yourself a favor and call them now! No upselling, No outrageous quotes. No guesswork. Only courtesy, honesty, and results. What are you waiting for?

John came out to my house today and was professional, courteous and beyond helpful. He came to my house, assessed the problem, fixed it and cleaned up afterwards. After my experience today, I would 100% recommend them to anyone and call them again as needed:)

I love this place. Customer service is great and the contractors are always on time. The work they do is great and very professional. I especially liked Toto he is very nice and his work is exceptional. I have had different people come over but I have to say his work is the best. Worth every penny. Highly recommend this place.
