The plumber was in a terrible rush and dropped the new in box toilet off of his dolly while he was attempting to bring it into the house. When he opened the box he found the toilet was broken (no surprise). He said he had NO time to take the toilet to Lowe's and return it for an unbroken toilet. I will never use this company for services again.

An hour early! Cody, quickly identified my problem and repaired before the long holiday weekend! I can trust United Plumbing to give me honest and accurate information. Quality work! Thanks so much Denise for all your orchestrating and keeping me in the loop! You are super efficient, not to mention an asset to United! Thanks again all of you!!

Never got to the point of using them. It has been 5 weeks since I requested a quote for a significant amount of work. I had to let United know that I was moving on because my other subs were starting to get work in the time frame I needed the plumbing accomplished. I will say they were very pleasant on the phone and as well as the in the home visit to look at their scope. But the bottom line is that they could not produce.

Trey did an awesome job ! Super professional and knowledgeable. Trey was on time and respectful specially towards our dogs !

United Plumbing is great!
My magnificent home warranty company, American Home Shield, contracted with United Plumbing to install my new dishwasher after my 15 year old Whirlpool had a pump failure.
Cody Thomas, the technician dispatched, is the epitome of professional. Give him a raise, United Plumbing! He is the kind of employee you want to keep around!
On install day Cody called and notified me of his departure and anticipated arrival time. I recv'd a text from United Plumbing shortly after Cody's call which provided me with a link where I could follow Cody enroute to my residence, with an up to the minute arrival clock (kind of like Uber). He got here right on time.
Cody introduced himself to my husband & I, I took him to the kitchen and he went straight to work. He had my broken unit disconnected & out in nothing flat. He then gave me the opportunity to clean out the dishwasher space while he took the old appliance out and loaded it onto his truck.
Back inside Cody unboxed my beautiful new stainless Whirlpool (which replaced my 15 year old black Whirlpool - WHIRLPOOL RULES!) and began the install. He finished quickly, and then ran a test cycle. Everything was PERFECT!
Cody provided me with the Whirlpool packet and handed me the warranty card specifically and reminded me the importance of sending it in. I filled it out & put it in the mail before he was even gone. Cody also had a sample pouch of Cascade Platinum detergent pods & rinse aid, which he gave me and informed me there was no break in period, that I could begin using my new dishwasher immediately. Woo hoo!
Cody also removed all the bulky packaging from my new dishwasher, which I sincerely appreciated. We live in a city with a permanent burn ban and the materials were far too large for my dumpster, even broken down.
I am sitting here in near silence as this magnificent new Whirlpool unit works its magic. I have advanced arthritis in both hands, so hand-washing dishes is NOT a thing I do! THANK YOU, CODY! THANK YOU, UNITED PLUMBING!

This company was assigned to us last August after buying our house a few months earlier. We had a problem with a toilet and a horrible very loud knocking noise in our water pipes when our spare bathroom shower was used for the first time. He said there was air getting stuck in our lines so he installed air traps which was not covered buy the home warranty. Cost us about $300.00 out of pocket. The kicker was the insurance company used that same problem on the front of their monthly magazine two months later. Beware..deception is everywhere. He also didn't fix the toilet so my husband ended up calling the manufacturer and they told him to replace the bottom gasket and it worked perfectly. Easy to do and less then $10.00. Today I called and United that the exact same thing was happening again when our spare bathroom shower was used. It had only been used by overnight guests maybe 10 total since last August. It took them half an hour to figure things out and call me back saying the warranty was only good for 6 months...expired 2 months ago. We were past the warranty and there would be a service charge again to come out and look at it. I asked why and how the air traps he installed could fail so soon since that shower was only used a few times. I was told it could be caused by a different problem. Wow, last time it could only be caused by air in the line. Now there be could a different cause. Not buying that one. Too bad honesty and integrity are hard to find anymore.

This company was assigned to me by Lowe's in Bryan. I needed a hot water heater installed. I started out confident because the office staff called and texted to keep me updated about when the installer was available and coming. My new hot water heater works. It doesn't stay hot long but its good for short showers. I probably just need to adjust the settings.
The install itself was sloppy and looks a mess. They cut a hole in the drywall to redo the piping and then instead of making the drywall flush to the wall and spackling; they screwed in the piece that they cut out. Now I have a little door in the wall held by silver screws. I don't know if you can purchase a water heater with right or left connections but this water heater openings were on the opposite side so they connected a pvc pipe across the front of the water heater. There's purple stuff dripping down the wall (friends have told me it's a type of insulation) that they didn't attempt to clean up and some kind of black sealant in the old holes.
The most irritating part was that I sat not 15 ft. from the installer the entire time and he never said "I'm going to cut a piece out this wall" "Do you mind if I put all these screws in your wall Or would you rather your wall look like it was before the install?" This was 1 week after Thanksgiving. Someone came out to inspect the damage 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard from them since. Lowe's tells me the water heater has to be removed in order to fix the drywall. I'm back to square one. I have had a hard time finding professionals to install a hot water heater on short notice so my advice to you is to skip the Lowes and Home Depot contractors and find a plumber you use or trust.
Hopefully I will hear from someone this month.

Called warranty company and they sent United. Took them 5 minutes to identify that water heater needed to be replaced, but then tried to tell me I needed a raised stand for the new water heater (even though the unit is in a closet inside the house) and that I needed new smoke detectors. Worked with the warranty company and explained that I would not pay for either upgrade. A week later when they came to install the new water heater they arrived an hour later than scheduled with no courtesy call to explain the delay. They installed the new water heater, but rushed the job and did not hook it up correctly to the new cord they charged me for. During the evening I opened the water heater and found that the electrical connection was not even hooked up. I connected the two leads myself and the heater worked fine. Before I discovered the problem, I called their office and left several messages explaining that the water heater was not working. Had to call them back the next day at 11:00 a.m. because I never heard back from them. Recommend anyone else in town before United.

Called warranty company on new home, and they sent United. My problem was in an outdoor building, so I just left it unlocked before I went to work. They called that morning and had no problem going by there without me being home. They had to move a lot of stuff to get to the issue, and put everything back just the way it was. Fixed both problems without any issue. It was almost impossible to tell they had been there! Would use again and recommend based upon this experience.

I previously wrote a 5 star review for United plumbing. They did a great job and their workers were friendly. When they installed my new water heater, replacing the old metal piping with PVC plastic, they left some gaps in my wall. No weather damage or anything was caused, but a few days later I had a rat in my home. The pest control expert wasn't sure that they came through that gap, but thought it likely considering the timing. United plumbing still did a good job, but they should either seal the holes they make or warn their clients that they should do that and the potential pest problems that could occur if they don't.
