In April 2022 United mechanical came to fix a plumbing issue. The serviceman gave a verbal price which was way over what it should have been fair and reasonable. I gave the serviceman my payment information which was just for the service call fee. My card did not expired until June 2022 but I get a call in July.. 3 months after they came to my house..stating I still owe the money. They did not apologize or give any explanation of what happened instead received calls from a 2 representatives demanding payment. then after several months threaten to sue me for non-payment even though I left a couple of messages and acted in good faith from the beginning.

I called in the morning that our toilet wouldn't flush and there was a technician at my house within 2 hours. I've used this company multiple times, and each time I am impressed with their timeliness, professionalism and ability to fix the issues I'm having at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend them.

The receptionist easily accesses my previous service calls and I don't have to give my address information again.

The service technician arrives on time.

I get an estimate for what needs fixing now; I DON'T get multiple offers to upsell me.

The price is reasonable. My repair is done quickly; Yesterday, my outside AC fan was replaced within 2 hours!! That's fast.

All the technicians who have come out have been good, but I must praise Sergio who came out this time. He was fast, knowledgeable, and I understood what he was recommending by the easy way he explained it.

My experience with United Mechanical was not what I had read in the reviews of other customers. The techs were polite but they did not have the part needed to fix the toilet. They left my house and about a half hour later called me to say no local Home Depot or hardware store carried the part. They had found a store 1/2 hour away and I would have to pay for their travel time to and from that store. Since they had taken the tank portion of my toilet I had no other choice but to agree. When I had spoken to office rep to make appointment he had said charge would be a little over $200. There was no discussion of prolonged travel time to get a part. My bill was $368.65 which was beyond what other plumbers would have charged. I had asked others about their charges and they were in line with the approximate phone charge UM gave me. Unfortunately, I thought the reviews would help me find an honest company but it did not . Most companies bring the replacement part. I have never paid for travel time to get a part. I can not recommend this company

We needed immediate help to change out an old, deteriorated washer valve and assistance with updating a 3 to 4 prong plug for our dryer. I contacted United Mechanical, spoke with manager, Doug, and they sent a team out immediately. I am pleasantly surprised! David and Nathan got here and quickly assessed the situation. Provided a good, quick quote. They were kind, smart, efficient, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Excellent communication skills. They were super timely. Came back the next day with parts, got the job done is less time, and cleaned up the dust and dirt upon completion. The company recommended Petri Electric (one of their commercial partners) and they worked simultaneously on the electrical outlet. In a couple hours, we were done. From the lady who answers the phone (office manager) to the supervisor, to the guys that came to the home -- they all represent an amazing company with fast, quality results and a great price. I am so grateful to work with them. We will be calling them again for additional remodel plumbing work that needs to be done. I highly, highly recommend them for any type of plumbing needs. They know how to solve customer problems. They listen and they are very respectful of the customer and their needs. Hope to see David and Nathan again soon! Way to go guys and office team! You knocked it out of the park.

Last time they came to light up our boiler, it would cost me about $200. This time they came to replace the pump blower relay ($39.50). Total cost $669. I talked to the manager. He said that it took a little over 7 hours on this job. He only charged me 4 hours. Yes, just a relay and they charged me $669 for it. OVER CHARGE. OVER CHARGE. I will never call them again.

If you need a plumber, call them. Their CS is outstanding. I called them and they came out on same day, DURING CHRISTMAS WEEK! They were thorough and extremely timely. Usually plumbers leave their mess, not them. Professionals at their best.

I can't say enough about how professional the service techs are at United Mechanical. Any time I have an issue at one of my properties I contact United Mechanical and I am never dissappointed. The serivce techs arrive on time, diagnose the problem, communicate the problem and fix it! If you appreciate professionalism and quality work I would certainly suggest calling United Mechanical for your next plumbing issue or failing AC!

After purchasing our dream home, we found out there were SEVERE plumbing and air conditioning problems. Including BLACK mold and several broken pipes underground and in the walls! United Mechanical was our saving grace! Their teams worked for days, tirelessly to repair all the problems. We will forever be grateful they were able to repair everything so quickly and precisely so our family didn't have to be sick any more. All the guys were very polite and clear on the repairs they were making. They even wore booties every time they entered my home and tip toed when the baby was sleeping. I highly recommend them for you and your family!!

We have been using United Mechanical for several years. Jim is our guy. We had to call UM because our faucet suddenly lost pressure. They are fairly quick to come out. In this instance, Jim initially showed me the part I needed and told me how I could easily replace it myself. Of course as soon as I replaced it something else happened and he had to come back. He had to replace another part but it didn't correct the problem. Jim had one of the managers call us to set up another appointment-which again was timely. This time a little more work was required but they didn't kill us in the price.
United Mechanical has professional plumbers who won't stick you with hefty prices and show up in time. They don't run silly TV commercials to gain business, but clearly can generate enough customers by referral. Which is what I'm doing now. Use UM if you need help and ask for Jim. Good guy.
