I am writing this on behalf of my 85 yr old mother who had a tech from united come check her a/c in late June as part of her semi-annual maintenance checkup. The repairman told her that her unit was old and that she should consider a new one and he would send a salesman by with a bid. The salesman gave her a bid on June 26th. On July 3rd her a/c quit working. After the 4th we got someone else to look at the unit and after putting 3lbs. of Freon in, it is now working just fine.I realize a/c units can lose there charge over time but if the tech really did an inspection less than two weeks earlier he should have seen the unit was low on Freon and charged it. All United wants to do is con elderly women into buying new systems. Needless to say this is the last time my mother will have anything to do with this company. I highly recommend you think twice before doing business with United Heating and Cooling.

I scheduled an appt months in advance for an HVAC check and was given a window of 12-5pm with the promise that I would get a call 30 minutes ahead of when the tech arrives so that I could come home from work. On the day of my appt, I got a call at 10:50am saying the tech was 20 minutes away so I raced home. The tech did not show up until almost 40 minutes after dispatch said he would be here. When I spoke with a manager about the issue, he was not concerned at all and told me that the tech had stopped for gas. Would not recommend using these guys if you value your time at all!

I had service done on our old A/C and the service was great. I had some issues with the A/C, but after the service techs worked on it, it was fixed and the problems were resolved. I figured it needed to be replaced, but the tech did some maintenance to it and fixed it.
I asked how much it would cost to replace it and he said it depends on many different factors of what you want and need but right now it's running good now. So, why replace it if it's running well? I agreed.
When the A/C does go out, I'll get hold of United and have them come out and give me a bid for a new one along with a couple other companies. I was told United offered financing too which was nice to know. I have recommended United before and will continue to because the job got done quickly and professionally and done right the first time and that old A/C is still running well.

Made me wait a week for an appointment, I left work early to meet the technician who was scheduled at 4:30 pm. I called at 4:45 to confirm and was told I was next in line for service. Finally gave up waiting that night at 9:15 pm, no call, no show. A huge waste of time, so rude to treat people this way. I understand being busy or running late, just call. So disappointing...

Sometimes in life, you get lucky and find the right person for the right job. This was my time in finding UNITED. From the first interaction on, I was treated with courtesy and professionalism. On installation day, the team was fast, efficient, polite and used every care with anything they needed to move or get to. They worked together like a symphony and what I thought was going to be a long and arduous procedure turned out quite the opposite. My home is 19 years old and though the air conditioners were only 8, the design of the ductwork and cheap units , gave me a $300 bill each and every month. United replaced those units with LENNOX systems, complete with new furnaces and new and efficient ductwork. Already I feel my home is the same temp in each room and running quieter for sure. I am anxious to get future bills! Once again, United was great, their workers are excellent and I am a lifer! Many thanks to Kent, Roy, Ernie, Roberto, Eddie and Alex...(and others)...my experience was what business used to be like...something you could count on!!

One of our (5) furnaces in our Sunset Hill home needed a new igniter, a very simple repair. We were told by AB May that we needed an entire new furnace because the heat exchanger was cracked and we were leaking carbon monoxide.

United Heating technician Tyler Hughes came out to give us a second opinion. Thank goodness for Tyler and United Heating for their expertise and honesty, because the previous diagnosis was proven to be untrue. Our furnace is working properly, efficiently and has more years of use. Tyler is a true professional and his diagnostics were thorough and helpful. He saved us a $2,000 - $3,000 unnecessary expense.

It's wonderful to work with a company that you can trust!

Very expensive. We have a furnace stopped working and called them. A technician went there and the trip charge was $143. He told me the air handler motor needs replaced and he would charge $740 for the motor on top of the $143 and he told me he does not guaranty the furnace will work after the motor is replaced. I was afraid he would charge us for something else. We ended paid him $143 without any repair done.

On 11/22/2017 around 2:43 pm I was driving Southbound on I-470 near Woods Chapel Rd. One of your guys who merged behind me came VERY close to hitting my car. This is not ok in my book.

On time like always, great guy checked both units explained various different things told me they were in great shape ran all the diagnostics to confirm that. We had two issues on the same day, one plumbing, one A/C. Service was done the very next day. The A/C issue was taken care of with just a service call charge. The plumbing issue resulted in a $79 service call charge, but re-attaching a dryer vent on the same visit resulted in an additional $145 charge. We thought that was a bit pricey, but both technicians were thorough and professional.
