One of our (5) furnaces in our Sunset Hill home needed a new igniter, a very simple repair. We were told by AB May that we needed an entire new furnace because the heat exchanger was cracked and we were leaking carbon monoxide.
United Heating technician Tyler Hughes came out to give us a second opinion. Thank goodness for Tyler and United Heating for their expertise and honesty, because the previous diagnosis was proven to be untrue. Our furnace is working properly, efficiently and has more years of use. Tyler is a true professional and his diagnostics were thorough and helpful. He saved us a $2,000 - $3,000 unnecessary expense.

Very expensive. We have a furnace stopped working and called them. A technician went there and the trip charge was $143. He told me the air handler motor needs replaced and he would charge $740 for the motor on top of the $143 and he told me he does not guaranty the furnace will work after the motor is replaced. I was afraid he would charge us for something else. We ended paid him $143 without any repair done.

On 11/22/2017 around 2:43 pm I was driving Southbound on I-470 near Woods Chapel Rd. One of your guys who merged behind me came VERY close to hitting my car. This is not ok in my book.
Anthony Leone was our tech that came by today for our fall furnace & humidifier check. On time like always, great guy checked both units explained various different things told me they were in great shape ran all the diagnostics to confirm that. We have used United since we built our home 14 yrs ago they are a quality company with great service!
Dave M.We had two issues on the same day, one plumbing, one A/C. Service was done the very next day. The A/C issue was taken care of with just a service call charge. The plumbing issue resulted in a $79 service call charge, but re-attaching a dryer vent on the same visit resulted in an additional $145 charge. We thought that was a bit pricey, but both technicians were thorough and professional.

United installed a new A/C and Furnace five years ago. They gave us the best advice and price at that time, and excellent installation service. We have used their seasonal check-up service for the past few years. This week Anton came to inspect and evaluate the system for the A/C season. He was knowledgeable and courteous, answering all my questions about various aspects of the system. I highly recommend United's service!
Kevin our technician was professional & knowledgeable. He checked the unit outdoors and then the furnace, humidifier and thermostats. He explained everything to me. He got the furnace running again. It was not getting hot enough. Kevin mentioned that our system was 22 years old and I might want to consider a new, more efficient system. I ask him to have someone from company call me. They called the next day & he came the same week. I am happy to have a new system being installed next week.
Tiffany M.Our builder chose United to install our HVAC system and we've kept them on a maintenance program every year since then. Twice a year the come out to inspect the systems, change the filters, clean what is needed, and keep an eye on things before they become a problem. Their techs are always on time, appts are confirmed the day before then again a half hour before arrival, they take time to explain things if asked, and are always professional and friendly. We'll keep using them for sure!
The first time I had United Heating come out for an issue with my furnace (almost 5 years ago) I was not pleased with the technician. Due to the fact the issue was not fixed and I had to call them out again. At that time Ben came out and determined what the issue was and repaired it. He took the time to explain what was happening and why and the steps that were taken to repair it. Afterwards, I would always request Ben.
This time I was told that Ben is now on the Commercial side but another technician could be sent. I was hesitant but it was cold outside and I didn't have any heat. Donald was the technician that came out and worked on my furnace. But by the time he arrive my furnace was working again but I still wanted it looked at because there evidently was something not working properly.
Donald was very professional and diligent in determining what the issue was. He also took the time to explain what he seen was happening and felt confident in the actions he took to repair it. He also suggested a twice a year maintenance package that will help keep my heating and cooling systems working properly.
I hope I don't have any issues anytime soon but when it's time for the spring inspection for my AC I will know be requesting Donald.
