I want to tell everyone about the incredible experience I had today with United Plumbing. My mother in laws water heater went out late last night. I called United plumbing this morning and Dan took care of me. He's always been great but today he really saved the day. He had the water heater installed within a few hours of me calling them. The quality is excellent and the pricing is always fair. Thanks Dan and United Plumbing for saving the day.

Had a clogged shower drain so called Monday morning & within 2 hrs they were here, wearing masks & ready to tackle the problem. Shower solved rather quickly & since they were here I asked them to chk. kitchen sink, working but draining slowly. That was more complicated, the snaking uncovered a weak area in a pipe under the sink. Surprise! but they spliced a new pcs. of pipe & reconfigured some other pipes so everything was fixed. Bonus points for cleaning up the work area so well that I didn't have to mop. I would highly recommend this company

I have not personally used their service as I live in Michigan. However, the owner of this company is amazing and generous. I received a generous delivery from her a my home. It was meant for a previous resident. But, it was simply because she saw a post online from this person stating that they were experiencing hardship and rationing food. I have contacted the recipient it was meant for to forward it on to them.
Talked with the owner of United Drain and Plumbing directly to let her know I received it and that I was searching for the person she intended it for. Absolutely amazing to know there are people like the owners of this business. Kudos. I definitely recommend doing business with them. If they care enough about random strangers across the country to offer assistance, they will take amazing care of your needs!

I am super excited to write a review for United Drain & Plumbing. I had an issue with my sink in my bathroom. I called my home warranty and of course they said that it was not covered by my policy (shocker!) I happen to be outside my house and saw a United truck. I walked over and spoke to the gentleman. About 20 minutes later I called the office and never thought in a million years they could come over right away and look at the sink, but they did. About 30 minutes later ""Miguel"" showed up and was extremely pleasant and communicated with me what he thought it was the problem, how he was going to fix it and how much it was going to cost. He immediately went to work and less than 2 hours later my sink was fixed. I would definitely recommend United for your plumbing needs.

Thank you Miguel for being so professional, pleasant and helpful. I appreciated you explaining everything to me and getting the job done in a timely manner! Keep up the great work and thank you again!

Although I feel their service is quality, I'm not impressed with their communication.

When I called to schedule my appointment, I was told 8am was an available appointment. I wasn't told there was a 2 hour window of time starting at 8am.

The morning that I was scheduled for an 8am, routine plumbing service, I waited until 8:30am with no sign of anyone. I called to follow up and was told the Plumber was ""in the neighborhood"", and would be there in 15 minutes.

Another 30 minutes passed with still no sign of a Plumber. When I called to cancel since I needed to leave for work, I was told he was ""around the corner"", and I would be charged for the cancellation if I went though with it, because there was actually a 2 hour window of time the plumber had to arrive to complete the job.

I relented since I didn't want to be charged, suddenly being aware I would be charged for a cancellation.

Another 15 minutes passed, and I followed up with the company again, only to find out the the Plumber was still at his first job site of the day. I had to leave for work, so decided to reschedule for a day when I could be available for a longer period of time, again being told I'd be billed for the cancellation.

I'd like to suggest that the ""2-hour window"" for service be communicated clearly when a client first schedules an appointment.

8am was a time slot offered to me, but it wasn't communicated that by choosing 8am, I was actually choosing 8-10am.

I phoned to ask for an estimate today. The operater and I had a poor connection but was able to give her my information that she requested in order to connect me. She places me on hold and returns only to state that they were busy?? what? She asks so you don't want to set an appointment? No, I need an estimate. She tells me someone would call me. No one ever did! After hanging up I realized that I had contacted this business before and had the same issue. This is quite unprofessional.

I am extremely disappointed in United Drain & Plumbing. I have used them now for several years to meet my plumbing needs but on 10/22 I requested an estimate for plumbing work I needed on my new home, they came to look at the issues, took a copy of an inspection report and after repeated messages I've left to get the estimate, I have heard nothing and not gotten an estimate and not even a return phone call from anyone.

Unlike a root canal at the dentist, the experience with UD&P and Dan, the general manager, was pleasant. Late Fri. night we decided a plumber was needed for the clogged double-sink kitchen drain. I called 24/7, spoke with a person who relayed our message for early Sat. morning. We got a call early Sat. from Dan, who in fact appeared within 30"" as arranged. He immediately assessed, snaked, re-snaked with a possible hydro jet procedure followed up by Jose to complete the job within the hour. Jose came and re-snaked the clogged drains. Dan returned and together, they managed to clear the drains and left the kitchen sink working! No hydro jet needed. Honesty, integrity, efficienct experience and value is reflected in their work. Thanks, Dan, for being dependable and caring. Call them for your inevitable plumbing needs. We will.
