UAT was the contractor assigned by AHS. The UAT tech completed a fine and honest inspection. This review is for the subsequent sales spiel from a UAT marketing rep. Per AHS, I'd be on my own for a new HVAC system due to exclusions in the contract. UAT unsuccessfully pushed me to buy an average quality replacement unit, labor, and taxes for $6350. I contacted Mannix and bought a high quality unit, furnace, evaporator coil, thermostat, labor, and taxes for $6104. The bottom line is shop around!

I had two issues with two different cartridges in my house, one in the bathtub and one in the shower. The one for the shower caused me to be unable to turn it off and I had to shut down water to the house. Our home insurance put in a work order through another company but they wouldn't be able to show up until four days later, not optimal since we had no water. I called our home insurance again and they put in an expedited work order through United Air Temp Inc. and they said they'd be there the following day. My man Hung showed up less than two hours later that same day and quickly fixed the shower issue and identified the problem for the tub, ordering the necessary part from the manufacturer (for free) and committing to returning to fix it as soon as the part came in under the same work order (no additional charge)! Awesome experience and Hung definitely went above and beyond.

I was worried when reading some of the reviews of the AHS warranty vendor but was pleasantly surprised with work that take some time fixing a Moen faucet that took time to arrive. But Amy Hilleshiem of ARS stayed in touch with the vendor and me to check on updates and ensure the work was done . Both Rudy and Carl did work and were courteous . Gold star to Amy and AHS who ensured everything turned out great

If you want to have your AC not fully functional for over 90 days this is the place to call! We purchased a unit from them several years ago and it is still under warranty. Our trouble started on June 1st with a no AC call and since then our unit has been hard wired to work so the fan never shuts off. So many phone calls so many lies about parts being ordered that never were. Nice fat electricity bill, hours wasted calling for updates, waiting for techs, messages never returned and a tech who spent over 7 hours trying to install a part and he ended up breaking others in the process. They are the WORST! Stay away keep googling this is not a professional, service oriented or even knowledgeable company. I have been a customer for over 15 years and as soon as this warranty issue is addressed I'm done!

We had great service from our technician Hung, he was on time, professional and did a great job resolving a badly clogged garbage disposal. We appreciate him going the extra mile and would highly recommend him for any tough job!

Worst company. Had a Service Request with AHS, waited for 3 hours for the tech to show up, the guy walks in and looks at the thermostat and says he can't work on this unit and walks out....very unprofessional...stay away at all cost....

I did my annual fall furnace check them before leaving for a two week trip. At that time I also purchase the prior plan in case of emergencies for the winter. The tech tried to upsell me by saying I needed by water heater replaced. I said no and I haven't had issues with the self cleaning WH. He said I recommend you replace it. Again NO from me. The next day a rep from UAT called and asked the same thing....again NO. I left on travels and came back. Now my water heater doesn't work. I call them and the same tech came back out. He again starts with you need to replace the WH. I said just fix it I have guest coming. Afterwards I said what was wrong with it, he said it needed to be rewired. WHAT! I've lived here 8 years and all of a sudden my WH needs rewiring! On top of that he charged me $149 for the call, my home warranty is only $100. I called and complained to the company, and was told by a manager they would look into it and he would call me back. No call back, no refund, and I have no faith in this company.

Stay away from this unethical company. You'll be very disappointed bu their terrible business oractices that leave customers hanging.

They'll also use scare tactics and high pressure sales techniques to upsell you to things you din't really need.

Later, when they can't get those items from their supplier, they'll then tell ""you don't really need that. you'll be fine without it.""

Managers won't call you back or follow up with your complaints. .

Big shout out to Geo at United Air Temp that services Leesburg VA. They are timely, courteous and do great work. Plumbing, a/c, etc. they handle it all.
