Horrible. This company was selected through my home warranty company. The techs do a great job at talking like they know how to fix the problem however they don't fix the issues long term. I specifically told the tech the leak was in 2 places however he told me ""it may appear that way but that's only because water travels. In reality it's only a leak in one place"".....a few months later here I am with a leak in the same place i told the tech. I trusted his ""expertise"" over my judgement. Then I called them this morning and they mentioned I have to pay again to have someone come out EVEN THOUGH it's for the exact same issue. AVOID THIS COMPANY and go some place else. I also worked with this company to fix a drain in a bathroom the tech was extremely lazy. He puts another stopper on the drain and I noticed it was wobbly so I asked him is that how it is supposed to be...only then does he say it's not an exact fit but if I want he can order another one. He orders another one and comes to fix it a few months later only for it to be a horrible job. Like I said they are lazy and since this happened on 2 occasions it's a company pattern and it made me leave this review.

My ac decided to stop working the day we listed our house, so I called America Home Sheild and they sent out United air temp for the warranty work. They came out on Monday July 18th and told us that our Txv needed to be replaced along with a recharge ($510 that we pay for) and it would 5-7 business days. United Air called me on July 20th to schedule a time for the tech to come out and replace the part, I later learned that is when the part had come in. During this time it was an average of 86 in my house and got up to 96 one weekend, even with multiple fans running. I have 2 small children and a dog who is highly susceptible to heat along with other animals in the house. I had called asking for any possible solutions and they gave me the ""we don't work on weekends and Monday is all we can do"". The tech came out on Monday July 25th replaced the part and said our air would be working, after a few hours the air was not blowing hard and the house was staying at 87. My husband went and checked the main unit and the vents were completely shut. I called AHS and they put in a recall for United Air to come back out to and to have a senior tech fix our issue. I was not going to wait to United air to call me so I called them right away and they told me that I would have a senior tech come out between 530-7pm that night. After not hearing from the tech I called United Air at 650 asking where the tech was and was told they could not reach him and would call me back, I never got a call back. At 720 I called United Air yet again and the agent I spoke with Brenda was very helpful and repeatedly called the tech and sent an email to the tech and his manager and if I did not hear from him in an hour call her back. Finally around 740 the tech called and said he was on his way, when he showed up i explained that the vents were closed and he tried to say the inspector could of closed it which I explained that the inspector left long before he was done. A few minutes later he tells me that the compressor has gone up and it would be another 5-7 business days to be fixed, so I am now going on 2 weeks without ac and the average temp outside is in the 90s and he just shrugged his shoulders. I was told that this was could not be expedited and to wait for United air to call and schedule a time for them to come back out again. The lack of understanding and that they sent the same person out who clearly didn't fix the problem to begin with and now I have to dea with no Air again. This is the worst experience and do not recommend this company to anyone.

Muhammad responded on a Saturday night when our A/C unit stopped working. This technician was professional polite neat and highly skilled. Our unit was repaired in less than thirty minutes and here is the best part, Muhammad discovered the coils were caked with dirt and debris which was causing us excess electricity coat and potentially damaging to our four ton unit. He cleaned it and we are in prime condition. Excellent company to work with and this tech was excellent.

Rude, condescending plumber, and the company has trained them to upsell products.

We have been forced to get service from them multiple times because of our home warranty company, and each time has been a disappointing experience.

A United Air Temp technician attended to a service call for us. He was super nice and polite and diagnosed that the unit was not quite repairable (or it would only survive a year), but would be sending a technician who would give an estimate for the same. After missing the first appointment, I called United on their 800 number and the nice lady there apologized and ensured me that she has rescheduled the appointment because of busy schedules. Fast forward 4 days - and not a peep. I would avoid these guys if you want professionals. I did go with one of the other highly rated HVAC folks here on Yelp ( and Google Review) - the difference was night and day!. Do check the multiple listings of United Air on Yelp to get a true picture.

Luis Fernandes, the tech who came to do a leak test on our AC was great! He not only did the leak test, but discovered another issue, which he worked on diligently. He was polite and professional, explaining what he was doing and why.

Michael Fox from United Air Temp was very professional, polite and detailed oriented. He explained what needs to be done and the condition of the system. He thoroughly serviced the unit and showed me pictures of what it was before and after the unit was serviced. I had a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend United Air Temp and Michael Fox.

Sean fixed our AC and did a amazing job. He is very professional, and knowledgable. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and went above and beyond to answer my questions. This is the third time we have used their service(1. Clogged sink, 2. Upper level heating unit 3. Central AC). All three times they scheduled appointments promptly and have done an exceptional job. Would highly recommend them.

They came to service the heat system. The tech (super nice, polite, timely and professional) said that there was a major issue and that the field supervisor had to come. He also said that the unit was unsafe to use. However, it was not tagged as such. He, nor the field supervisor conducted a CO2 test to determine how 'major' the issue was. The only thing I was told was that it was unsafe and needed to be replaced. Naturally, they could do the replacement (the next day) and they were the highest of the 6 well known companies that provided estimates.

The other companies that looked at the issue said it was damaged. HOWEVER, the CO2 test showed that it was not dangerous and said that the first company (UAT) should have AT LEAST tested the system to see if carbon monoxide was present and if the system was 'a danger' it should have been tagged and shut down.

Don't do it! Even if they are referred by your home warranty company, politely decline. We have been without an A/C unit for 3 weeks in the dead of summer. When the technicians initally came out, they were helpful and appeared knowledgeable about the unit. Even though the print on the label [of the actual unit] was rubbed off, they were confident they could order the replacement part. A day after they visited, they called to schedule someone to come out to remove the part to send to the manufacturer so they could order the correct part for the repair. 3 days later, the technician came to remove the fan from the OUTSIDE unit.

A day later, I received a call from UAT to make an appt for the actual repair. Seven business days later, on the morning of the scheduled repair, UAT called to say they checked the box and all the parts weren't there. They could not make the repair and would need to contact the manufacturer, again. After asking for a 'manager', I was transferred to Ahmed, the 'manager' who assured me he would go and pick up the part, if possible, so they could get the repair done. Three days later, there is still no word as to whether the part has been successfully ordered and whether or not the unit will be repaired before summer ends.

I called the warranty company to see if they could get any answers and nope, they were no help at all. They called the same 800 number I initially called and were told, the part has not come in. When it does, someone will call me.

Poor customer service, poor communication (no follow through or follow up) and I would not recommend their services.
