The fan motor on my wall furnace was making strange sounds. This company was referred to me by my propane company. They sent a man out, charged me an hour labor for him to take the panel off the furnace and tell me that the motor needed replacing.

A few days later they call me and tell me it will be over $700 to replace the motor. The motor itself they said was $475, and then two hours of labor and ""travel expenses"" even though they're located THREE miles from my home.

A quick google search of the company that makes the furnace reveals the part in reality only costs $120. On top of that, it's three screws and a couple of wires to install. Basically a do-it-yourself job.

These jokers wanted to gouge me for $350 on the actual motor and TWO HOURS of labor at $120 an hour for three screws and a couple of wires.

DO NOT call this company unless you like to hemorrhage money for no reason.
