Upon receiving a brand new A/C unit in January 2023 from Unique, the A/C has broken down 5 times. I'm in J302 & the last guy came last week & spent 10 minutes & nothing was fixed. I called Air & Energy & the unit was fixed. I called Unique & told them it was fixed. I want to be reimbursed $350. I was told to go suck myself & hung up on. I will be reporting this to BBB & Better call Behnken.

Do not use this company. In 2015 they sold us a Daikin HVAC unit with the promise that it was the only company that offered a 12 year parts and labor warranty. Now the HVAC unit is nine years old and needs a warranty part. They said it could be months before we get the part and the things not covered under warranty will cost us $1500, They offered to """"help"""" us by selling us an entirely brand new unit with $2000 off. We called another company who came within 24 hours and fixed the problem for $500. The new company also took pictures of the unit that Unique had supposedly done maintenance on and it was filthy. Not only that the second unit that they said they did scheduled maintenance on quit working entirely. Prior to them coming the unit has been working fine. When we called them, they said it would cost another diagnostic charge for them to come out and look at the problem that they caused. Almost forgot to mention, but they canceled two appointments that we stayed home from work so that they could come do the scheduled maintenance and they didn't show up. I will never use this company again.

I have an A/c installed 3 years ago and it has broken down 3 time now. Unique installed and has not ever come out to repair. First 2 times I called another company who showed up within an hour to repair. This 3rd time no help again.

My wife filled out a form at Home Depot North Port Florida. Our AC unit was 15 yrs old, and as Snowbirds, we didn't want to face a Florida AC problem while we were home for our Canadian Summer. The follow-up was with a Unique Rep a day or two later and while he seemed knowledgeable, we quickly got the impression that it was a self-serving knowledge. Our old unit was a one-ton with humidity control, he offered a three-ton as the base unit without any form of humidity control features. The lifetime slab and the Nest thermostat seemed to form the hyped portion of the pitch. When it came to installation, we were disillusioned at laying the new slab atop of the old one, and when we complained of the vibrations between the slabs, the technician simply attached the two slabs together with metal straps & Tapcon screws. The installation remains unsightly as the are across one another. Then we had a service call, while we were in Canada, to show our Summer caretakers how the Nest thermostat worked because they could not fathom not having humidity control in Florida. Yesterday, March 25th, our AC stopped working and the outside temperature was touching 90F. We called Unique Services around 3 PM and a technician arrived around 6 PM. The AC had started working again, but we felt the technician may shed some light on what had gone wrong. After a few minutes, the tech wanted to show me that the blower motor was running slow with a scraping noise. I asked if the unit was under warranty. He acknowledged that it was. He would source a new motor, but we would have to pay for his labour. He left the fan ON, advising us that, if it started working, we should turn ON the AC mode. We were disappointed that nothing was done in the form of repairs. Diagnosis, collect the fee and on to his next call. I was disappointed at not having had anything repaired and realising that the """"warranty"""" is by the manufacturer, I decided that I had nothing to lose by doing my own """"blower motor investigation"""". The tech had only put one screw into the access panel, so that worked in my favour. I removed the blower motor, and upon getting into it, I found that the noise and strain was caused by an extremely dirty rotor against the winding. I cleaned it, reassembled and reinstalled it, and all worked. We've concluded that Unique Services seems to be more for tech or installer convenience and not necessarily for customer satisfaction or even product appearance. Therefore, we will be seeking another HVAC firm to service our Carrier AC unit. It saddens that we could not find the right chemistry with Unique.

Just to update review. My family has now been without any a/c for four weeks waiting for a part. Initially I was told it would be two weeks, but here we are four weeks later and still no air. The number for Jessica that was left by the company on my original review does not work and the """"corporate"""" number they left is not corporate at all. It's another call center called ARS. Avoid this shady business at all costs!

So It's 5:00pm on Monday. I hired Unique through Lowes to install my water heater. Along with the water heater I needed a circulating pump. The heater was installed and I was told that the pump would was ordered and would be in in mid October. I called and then textedDovany Rodriguez on October 20, 2022. He didn't remember me and I had to send him pictures of the job. I didn't hear back from him. Text him on 10/28.""""I'm heading to the shop now...give me an hour"""" Never heard back. 10/31 text him. """"We never got it"""" 11/9 """"Pump came in"""" 11/14 I text him to ask when it will be installed. He tells me Friday 11/18, 12-4pm. You guessed it...3pm I call the office. They have no idea what I am talking about. After looking at the work orders she says someone had been out there on Monday 11/14. I tell her no and go through the whole story. She says someone will call me. It is now Monday at 5pm. I have not heard from them. I moved everything out so they could work and have been parking my cars outside. This is no way to do business. Don't use them

This has been the worst experience I've ever received from a company. We purchased our A/C unit six years ago, we also were under warranty for 15 years, we haven't even lived in this house for 15 years. Yet, we're having to pay out of pocket to fix an issue with our A/C unit that has left us without Air conditioning for almost two weeks now. As soon as the a/cs control panel failed, we immediately called. We live in Tampa, Florida, this is one of the hottest years for Tampa. We are above 70 years old, suffering in 90 degree heat for the last week and a half, we also have grandchildren living here as well as pets. Not only are we paying out of pocket; Unique Airs communication is horrific. Everyone we spoke with were rude, with the exception of one employee, we've been told the part isn't in, then one employee says the part has in fact arrived, then we get the run around when it will be fixed. However, they NEVER show up. The receptionist, rude, the technicians, rude. This is by far the worst company I have ever been involved with and I've been alive for over 70 years. I've had several health complications since the a/c failed, my grandchildren, one with asthma, can't breathe inside; she has to go outside to get any sort of relief. She also works for the stadium, and works outside 24/7 when she comes home she has to take a freezing cold shower JUST to breathe. But Unique Air does not care. They let their costumers suffer without giving them ANY information; and consistently fails to return our phone calls and even fails to even show up at the designated times that THEY specified. Do not do business with unique air, they are a terrible company and do not care about their customers.

what a terrible service as well as misleading contract. had service agreement for years $350. my agreement covered normal service twice a year. my cooling system routinely shuts down due water backup in the drain line. they clean it out replace the filter which I provide. i was advised my plan had changed (who knew)? they didn't change my filter and charged approx $500 for 1/2 hour. while my wife and i never understood our plan changes service said we did. well the most dishonest company is gone.
