We made an appointment for plumbing service and were given an arrival window between 12 and 3pm a few days in advance. I get a call from a plumber at 10am that day who was approaching our house and wondering where we were. We were of course out getting errands done so that we could be home for the promised afternoon window and were at least 30 minutes from home at the time. After getting an earful and being told I had scheduled from 10-12 (which I would never have done as I have regular appointments during that time and had immediately written down the 12-3 time I was told), I was then told to call and reschedule and hung up on. Having a lengthy arrival window can be plenty stressful in terms of daily planning. So when I arrange my day to accommodate your schedule, it's a super awesome business model to show up 2 hours outside the arrival window and then give me attitude for your own mistake. Fortunately we were easily able to go with another company through our home warranty program.

If you really must use them, then double/triple/quadruple confirm your appointment time so that you can laugh in their faces when they blow you off and then gaslight you.
