They showed up wearing a mask. The service guys were super friendly and knowledgeable. They didn't even seem to mind when my dog kept escaping into the room where they were working. I would highly recommend these guys for any service calls.

I have had Unique install several systems in my apartments and other buildings over the last several years and unfortunately will not have them do work in the future.

I recently had them put a new HVAC in an apartment I have that is located in a converted 200 year old barn. While they were very pleasant and installed quickly, as they began working, I authorized an additional $3700 to replace old ducts, reducing their size to make them better fit into the space (on top of initial $10,000 estimate). During the install, the installer informed me that they couldn't reduce the size but since they had started replacing the ducts, I would still need to pay the additional charges.

In addition, several weeks after the install was complete, I discovered that they had not sealed holes they had cut in the stone walls which had allowed rats to enter the apartment. After calling the company to complain and to get someone to come out to complete the work, while the operator and intial salesperson were sympathetic, I never got a call back to have someone rectify the issue so I had to close up the holes and now have to exterminate the rats.

Finally, during this install, I noticed that, during the replacement of the other system in the building 2 years ago, they had moved the outdoor condenser unit so that it now blocks the unit's outside electrical shutoff, making it inaccessible (and I believe a violation of code). I also raised this with the company but heard nothing back.

So, while they have good service and the systems I have had them install work well (reason for 2 stars rather than 1), my history with the installs is such that I can't recommend them to others going forward.

What a great experience! I initially called not realizing I had incomplete information on my heat pump that wasn't working properly. When I was told what they needed to know in order to come out and look at it, they waited to hear to back from me rather than nagging me as some companies would.

They charge a very reasonable $99 for a diagnostic visit. It turned out the problem was an extremely filthy filter. I was charged $10 for the filter and nothing for the replacement work. I highly recommend them.

As a new landlord its important for me to be able to remotely locate and hire someone to come service my property. The process from beginning to end was so seamless and I couldn't have asked for more. I called Unique Indoor Comfort and spoke with Joy (who's so pleasant) and she gave me a quote, told me she could get someone out the next day and asked for a credit card to put on file, but ensured that I would contacted should the bill exceed the quoted amount, but other than that, that was all I had to do. The process allowed me to be less involved and allowed me to focus on other responsibilities which I greatly appreciated.

Juan and Alex installed a hot water heater, an A/C Gas furnace unit in our basement and a heat pump unit on our third floor and re-did all of the ductwork in our basement and increased our air return and multiple vent sizes. Everything was A+ and professional from quote to completion. They were on site four days removing the old system and installing the new systems.

I was very impressed with the attention to detail. Our previous install was of a particularly poor quality. They taped every joint, cemented around the new pvc exhaust and the system is running far better than before. They cleaned up carefully every evening and left the place spotless. They were also very careful with their covid protocols and I never saw them without their masks on.

I would recommend Unique and these installers in particular to anyone who needs a new system.
