Nick with Union Jack is fantastic. Let me begin by my call - When I placed my call, I got voice message system - what was wonderful is that Nick set the expectation - saying that at the moment - he was quite busy and it may take 2 days to get back with me - unlike other services that just leave you in the dark. Sure enough on "day 2" he returned my call, he knew exactly what the problems were and in fact he was able to come that day & replace the "inner-workings" of both of the toilets in my house. His work is top notch, his pricing fair and honest. I will use him for any future plumbing issues/up grades. Highly recommend this gentlemen.

Quick same day service, top notch work, fair price, and on time. I would definitely use again and I would most certainly recommend.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Nick with Union Jack. He was very quick to respond to us. Just from the description we gave him over the phone he knew what was wrong with our plumbing. He came out the next day and fixed everything and was under budget. Fast friendly and fair!

Fantastic. Responded fast, came right away, fixed something another plumber told me would have to be replaced (for $$$$), polite, efficient, knowledgeable, reasonably-priced, everything you could ask for in a plumber.

First, a tl;dr - Nick is honest, very reasonably priced, knows his stuff, and is so much fun to visit with. If you don't have time to read the rest of this, take my advice and hire him now. Also, avoid Whirlpool water heaters. They have a part that is known to routinely go out.
My water heater went out. It's not ancient, so I figured that it wouldn't be complicated to repair. Expensive, of course, but not hard to have someone in to do the repair. I was so wrong! I called 5 plumbing companies prior to calling Nick. I hadn't needed a plumber before (lucky me!), so I was just calling based on positive Yelp reviews.
Three companies couldn't see me until the end of the next week. I'm happy they are busy and thriving, but was getting worried because I really didn't want to be so long without hot water. The two other companies I called never responded to my voicemail messages. These were smaller businesses and I suppose that they were too busy to return my call.
Nick answered my call and knew so much about my water heater that he helped me get a head start on what to do. He explained that this water heater - a Whirlpool purchased at Home Depot 6 or 7 years ago - is known for having this particular part to go out. I don't remember the name of the part, but it keeps the pilot light on. He suggested that I call Whirlpool and have them ship the parts he would need to do the repair, and also told me that the parts may still be under warranty, something that hadn't occurred to me.
The parts ended up being covered by warranty, which saved me a few hundred dollars. I only had to pay for expedited shipping. I was unhappy that I had to pay shipping at all, knowing that Whirlpool had made the mistake by using inferior parts well after they knew that so many customers were suffering from their mistake.
I texted Nick once I had the parts, and he came over the next day. Our water heater is in the attic. The attic must have been a gazillion degrees. Up Nick went, and replaced the damaged pieces.
There is more to the saga of the Whirlpool. It ended up having the same parts fail in a week and a half. Nick isn't doing water heater installation at this time, so I called one of the big companies with advertising everywhere to give me a quote for replacement. I was curious what someone else would charge to replace the faulty parts I could order from Whirlpool.
I was shocked! He wanted more than twice as much as what Nick did to replace parts that I would be providing! His estimate to replace the water heater was twice as much as Nick's very rough estimate. It's almost as if some plumbers have so much work that they lob i out super high estimates.
We are on day three of having a new tankless water heater that was installed by a bigger company. I won't review them yet as there have been a couple of snags. I want to see how they see things through to the end.
If you're searching yelp for a plumber, you probably have an unpleasant situation going on. I wish you speedy and reasonably priced repair.

I recently called and made an appointment for some items around the house that have been problematic for a while. When I left a message, I received a callback within a short while. Nick was very prompt and arrived on time. He was able to fix all of the items without issue. However, this write up would not do him justice if I didn't add a few other things. Nick is a true craftsman and I must say that I have only encountered such a professional a few times in my life. He knew how to fix the issue, didn't overcharge for parts that you did not need and above all - this is an honest man. All of which is a rarity these days.
Would highly recommend Union Jack to anyone and I will be a return customer whenever the need may arise in the future.

I called Union Jack after another plumber refused to answer my calls (after giving me a quote and describing a complicated process to change my shower arm). I described the issue and Nick warned me this could be a difficult fix. He then proceeded to remove my stuck in shower arm in less than 60 seconds, when the other company (that I have reviewed separately) refused to return my calls after trying unsuccessfully to remove the shower arm. Nick could not have been more pleasant to deal with. He was professional and friendly, and obviously knowledgeable. I have saved his number in my phone in case I ever need a plumber again.

Good guy, fixed us up quick. He just happened to be in our neighborhood and came over right away.

So dis dude is da chit.
Nick is friendly, grew up in Greece on an island, went to the same international school I went too, engaging in conversation and even like my wife talks to himself as he works away. He is a plethora of information and knowledge to boot. I have had a shower stall that needed a new lever. I let him know it was a Moen after we went back and forth on phone calls and texts, I called today to see if we could schedule an install. He actually had a cancellation this afternoon and asked if he could pop by to do the job and I was available. He called when he finished his job and made his way over and got here about 4.20pm. The guy works a full day and this I respect. He came in, got busy, replaced the Moen tap, gave us an option of different lever and bing bang walla wally ding dang, job done. I frankly don't know price points, but $245 all in, with assistance in picking our a new water heater, tweaked my toilet handles seemed alright. Second time out for Nick and if I have anything more needed, he will be my guy.. .always.
Thanks NicK!

Nick knows his stuff and goes above and beyond! He solved our problem over the phone and didn't charge us a penny!
For months we were having an intermittent, yet persistent problem with a terrible sewer gas smell in one of our stores. We tried everything we could think of and everything that was recommended (including climbing onto the roof of the commercial building and extending one of the pipes.
After reading the rave reviews we gave Union Jack Plumbing a call. Nick called back and told me that he no longer does commercial plumbing and gave me the name and number of a commercial plumbing company, but he didn't stop there! He asked me several questions, explained the potential causes, and associated solutions. He gave me instructions on how to test some things and the solutions we could do ourselves if we found the problem and explained what the plumber would do if the problem turned out to be more than we could fix.
We followed Nick's instructions, found the problem, and implemented the SIMPLE, FREE solution. The problem is gone! Nick is awesome! He didn't have to take the time to troubleshoot our problem and explain solutions, but he did.
I HIGHLY recommend Union Jack Plumbing. That's who I'm calling next time we have a residential plumbing need.
