I have been using Unified Mechanical's services at several of my properties for over 20 years. They have done everything from installing a new garbage disposal/state of the art furnace to installing all new plumbing and HVAC. Unified Mechanical is the only plumbing HVAC company I call. They are very skilled, dedicated pros and wonderful people.

Another great service day from Unified Mechanical. Our AC stopped working during this heat wave. Unified Mechanical came out right away and squeezed us in their busy day. They had us up and running in no time. Sal and Richie are the best in the business. Don't waste your time calling other companies. You won't be disappointed.

Unified Mechanical Inc is operated by people who are totally unprofessional and are out there to extract your money. You are charged over $150 every time they make a trip even though they have not correctly diagnosed/fixed an issue. This absolutely doesn't make sense. I was charged twice for the same issue in a span of 3 days. They don't want to or cannot diagnose an issue first time around and provide a temporary fix. When this breaks in two days, you have to call them back, and they charge you again. I had the worst experience with them!

I just want to warn others who might rely on these guys. Please look for someone other than Unified Mechanical (importantly, someone who can do business with ethics)

Excellent service started with a house call, which was performed on time, and on a weekend for convenience. Sal, an owner at Unified Mechanical, spent about 45 minutes with us, talking through our options and measuring the house. When he said the estimate would be done in a few days, I almost laughed because I had to work hard to get estimates from other contractors, if they came at all. Sure enough, in a day or two, it showed up in my inbox. The price was fair and we set a date for the work to begin and they arrived right on time.

The guys at Unified were extremely courteous, doing their best not to intrude when they arrived in the morning. They used drop clothes whenever they began work, and a vacuum followed them throughout the house. I expected a huge mess when they left everyday but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean they left the house. Oh, and they put up with our little yappy dog as well. Despite the ankle biting early in the process, by the end of their work, the dog was climbing up their legs. I am only partially joking, as it's nice to be able to leave the house all day with an animal at home and not have to worry about it escaping or freaking out.

We are excited that the work is now complete and our heat is working beyond expectations. They filled out all rebate materials as mentioned by the other reviewer, so a bonus there.

I'd encourage anyone to use Unified Mechanical to take care of their heating and cooling systems or any other plumbing needs. I know that when I have any other work around the house, I'll call them. Oh, and I should mention that they use a calling service, which is awesome, because someone nice answers any time of day. And they actually call back!

Unified Mechanical handled my home's upgrade from an oil boiler to natural gas, after a referral from National Grid. The upgrade was done in a day, powered and managed by the company's president and completed by a continuing symphony of electricians and plumbers over a twelve hour window in a single day. The team cleaned up the space, installed the boiler, and dressed the plumbing beautifully. They even ran a new 1"" gas line with minimal impact to my basement ceiling. Highly recommended for anyone considering an upgrade or conversion. They even filled out one of my rebates completely and did most of the heavy lifting on the other.

These guys do great work, IF you can get them to show up. They run a highly disorganized business - poor communication, no follow up, totally unreliable. There are plenty of qualified contractors out their that understand the meaning of customer services; I highly recommend you find one.
