A few months after we had the system replaced, we had huge rains and storms for a few weeks, which removed a few of our bricks that were placed over the sewer lateral. We told the company and they sent someone out the SAME DAY to fix the bricks with no charge. Absolutely the best plumbers we've ever had. Underground rooter saved us a large chunk of money right off the bat by finding a way to do the camera test on our broken sewer lateral, when 2 other plumbers both said they'd have to first install a new clean out (expensive). They got all the necessary permits very quickly and completed the work impressively fast and well. Agusto is kind and honest and so helpful. And his pricing is totally reasonable. He also helped us fix our hot water flow to the shower. We've had two other plumbers look at it over the years, but Agusto and his guys made it work better than it ever has!

SUMMARY: Underground Rooter came out to help on a job at my home and did an amazing job.

STORY: When I ran my washing machine, my nearby shower and toilet would start to flood. Rooting didn't solve the problem, but a camera discovered that the issue was either a broken pipe or a missed connection to the sewer line.

Underground Rooter partnered with Oakland Rooter & Plumbing worked together the day before Thanksgiving to triage, then started the job the day after Thanksgiving. They dug a hole near my driveway and were respectful of all the plants and area around. They then found the issue. Long story short, turns out it wasn't a root issue in our pipe. Our pipe had been draining into the ground for 10+ years without being connected to the sewer main (I moved here only 3 years ago). On top of that, it was an older clay pipe, which was still in working condition. I asked the team if they could do a trenchless replacement to a new pipe and they said yes. They prepped all day on Friday, then did the final work on Saturday. By mid-afternoon everything was in place and my front yard looked as though nothing had been touched.

The toilet and tub were backing up ... couldn't use the washing machine or flush the toilet ... it was a mess! Mr. Ramos came quickly, immediately diagnosed the problem (roots in the clay pipe) and called me with the news. He also had the solution, got a permit SO quickly and manually removed the roots so the toilet could be used while we waited for the permit, etc. The process was smooth, organized and professional. The fees were very reasonable given how much work was involved. Underground Rooter kept to the schedule, responded to my concerns and fixed the problem in a very timely manner. I had a clogged underground drainage pipe that needed to be replaced, and Augusto and his team did a great job. He first came to my house to provide an estimate -- at no charge -- and showed me video of the dirt blockage using a camera attached to a long line that he fed through the pipe. He then sent me a quote and did the work on time and on budget a few days after I decided to proceed. They also did a great job protecting the plants that had to be moved for the work, and with the cleanup. I'm a relatively new homeowner so I don't have a long list of contractors I can rely on, but Underground Rooter is now on it.
