Got a flyer in the mail. 0% interest, 0 payments for 12 months and tax break. Tax break has nothing to do with the company and I don't need financing so really just wanted bottom line. No prices over the phone. I'm familiar with HVAC and know exactly what I want and what my budget is several thousand. I have a unit and have ductwork etc. knowing exactly what I need and what brand and Seer. secretary said no over the phone pricing. I'm not looking to waste my time or yours. Not nice to send your guys on goose chases either.

About a month ago I financed a tank less water heater from UGI. Here we are almost a month of a job that usually takes 3 days to do. They do not keep you informed, and everyday it's different faces working to on the installation. Took 3 days vacation at first so I could be home and afford them the time to install. It is unfortunate that the salesman has not reached out to apologize. I highly recommend that you keep an eye on them from beginning to end if you purchase this product. So much has happened that is to much to write down on here. I hate doing this but if I don't pay my loan you better believe they will take legal action. Was very patient with them until I saw lack of interest. I sure this review won't matter to them, but at least it will make people weary when buying this product from UGI.

First they were supposed to come on Wednesday but never showed up. When I called they said in 3 weeks I said no tomorrow. SO they did come. However I was not able to be there cause I left early the day before to make the appointment that they never showed up for. SO when he came my wife called me and told me he needed to speak with me. He said my unit was so old (15 years) that they didn't make parts for it any more and I need a capacitor. I said oh no what will we do if they don't make parts for my unit. He said that he had 1 on his truck...lol...and he could get me an estimate on a new unit. I said what is this going to cost me and he said $191 installed. I later found that this part costs about $20 and is about 10 minutes to replace. Kind of ridiculous. All he wanted to do is sell me a new unit. When I posted my review on their site it never showed up

I called this place, requesting to get a diagnostic for my water heater and A/C. someone had told me to keep an eye out for my water heater because they told me that it was going to give out, claiming that its old and most probably needs to be replaced or looked at. I explained this issue to the woman on the phone. from hearing the woman speak, she seemed not interested in helping me out. she said that if there's no issue with the system then there's no need on sending someone to get a diagnosis. I was frustrated at the fact the woman was refusing to help me after even telling her the reason why I want someone to look at it. am I supposed to wait till there is a problem? and have a bigger problem, or have it looked at and trying to resolve it before it's to late. and so what if there isn't a problem? I'm still paying them. the lady on the phone didn't seem professional at all, I wouldn't recommend this place. they give me a rip you off vibe. only trying to go out for the big bucks.

Will not use again. Guy was very friendly, but ended up having to call someone else out. I know it's July, but I am getting ready to put my house on the market and had a problem this winter getting heat to my second floor, told the service tech and was told furnace is working, but heat on 2nd floor never got warm. Called the next day to explain and was basically told that because it's July they wouldn't get an actual reading. Called another company, they came out 2 days later and fixed it in 1/2 hour. Low and behold I needed a new regulator on the furnace heat went in upstairs with no issue.

Last Tuesday morning we discovered we had no hot water. When we found water on the basement floor we knew the water heater had broken. Since we had a contract with UGI we called them and a service person was at our home by 11 am. He ordered a new water heater which they were able to install in the afternoon. By 4 pm the work was completed. We were impressed with the promptness and also the courteousness and professionalism of the people who solved our problem.

Ugi was at the house to check our boiler for heat and hot water out.The tech was very knowledgeable.He found a problem with the gas dryer vent was to close to boiler intake and exhaust vent.The bolier installation vent and intake was to close to dryer vent.I extended vent pipe away from intake pipe.I am very happy I went with U G I maint program.

I have had a service contract with them for 10 years. My gas furnace began acting up on the Friday before the New Year holiday. I called and a tech came out on Saturday. He said I need a new motor. Told me that he could not even place the order for one until the Tuesday after the holiday. Could not tell me how long it would take to get the part. Could not estimate how long my furnace might last. If the warehouse that they use is not accessible on a holiday, maybe they should find another warehouse? I have had my system cleaned and maintained by them just so that this would not happen. Leaving me with a 50 degree home for the most frigid 3 day holiday weekend on record. Could not leave house in case the furnace stopped completely. Will not renew my service contract with UGI.
